Funny that, I use to like ekotto too That time BAE pulled down a shanked and skied clearance from Dunne right on the touchline of SAR and knocked it through the onrushing attacker will live long in my memory. Best memory of Traore was when he came on as sub up at Ewood Park in central midfield and absolutely ran the ran the show in the second half. He (AT) suffered a lot from lack of confidence and was scared of a career ending injury. I walked up from White City station with him one saturday and we had a long chat about this, it turned out we were both reading the same book about mental training in sports (mine was for archery).

He was actually a top notch player, you could see the ability he had but could also see the flaw of he was not totally into the game similar to Bosingwa.

Have a feeling it was Birmingham 1-0 Austin’s first goal. Don’t remember if bae even played but was just astounded he had no idea where he was going so close to kick off. Bizarre
