Quite surprising
Stcheve did well to get us on a good run after that bad start in fairness to him. Was enjoying the football around this time last year.

Saw that other day. We had purple patch and Shame it fell apart from New Years onwards
Defo in better place now with better manager

Can't quite explain why we hit that bad run in January. Only won 3 games after that and 2 of them were under Eustace.

There was an interview around the time that we signed MW where Eustace was said to have marked Warburtons card regarding the players we had, one of the main takeaways was that the squad had a losing mentality that it couldn't shake. |

Interesting that. Can actually imagine SMC not being able to fire a squad up mentally....was never the most inspiring manager IMO |

He had one win in 14 after xmas and there just seemed to be no coming back so the decision to let go was right IMO. It just completely fell apart after a really good run (relatively for us) from the end of August to the end of the year. I'm just hoping the same isn't happening again but there was something in the air around us last night that just seemed off. |

We fell apart last season because of the cup run in my view. Playing same xi each week and then some key injuries to Cameron and Rangel who were both excellent. But if he had changed team, he’d have been vilified.

We have changed half the squad and the manager. Comparison not a continuation. New season, new squad but it's happening again so forget history and consider something needs to change now. Would suggest players are not as bad as the way they are being asked to play. |
