Who would make up your starting eleven of those that have played for us from 2010 onwards?

Alex Smithies Kyle Walker Nedum Onuoha Rio Ferdinand Taye Taiwo Adel Taarabt Ale Faurlin Eberechi Eze Loic Remy Charlie Austin Eduardo Vargas Very attack based, makes sense given your comments about our defence! But would you really have an ageing Ferdinand in your 11? Some players are an absolute shoo-in for this team, but defence has to remain the most contentious area. Then I started to think about it and realised the wealth of amazing attacking midfielders we've had and find myself also going attack, attack, attack! Then I thought, hold on, Eze and Adel in the same team?? If we're talking about players in their absolute pomp, then Adel wins hands down. Then there's sentiment.... heart over head.... this is an almost impossible task! Kenny Walker Onouha Hill Derry Routledge Faurlin Cook Taraabt Remy Helguson

I loved Taiwo for the short time we had him and I honestly believe he is the best left back we have ever had in my time of watching us play since 1966. Defence and clean sheets are very over rated IMO

Routledge a good half season, pity we didn't sign him permanently.

It's good to see these; it is a definite insight to peoples thinking LOL. I wouldn't have Barton within 50 miles of W12 because of the damage he did in the dressing room but I am obviously fairly alone in that thinking.

----------------Smithies-------------- Simpson----Onuha--------Hill-------Yun -------------M'Bia----Faurlin---------- Phillips---------Taarabt--------Freeman ------------------Austin--------------- I liked Stephane M'Bia he was a really nice bloke and was always looking to give his shirt to a fan at a game too. The way he was treated at the end was a crime and he proved his worth as a footballer after he left with a couple of Europa Cup winners medals. Old Candleface really managed to fuck up QPR in his time with us.

Wouldn't have him anywhere near my eleven but I did like mbia. I remember him looking really good at right wing back up at old Trafford.

That was a lot more difficult than I thought it'd be! Also considered Connolly, Freeman, Mackie, Remy and even Wells. And even Djibril Cisse for that mental half a season the year we stayed up.

Would imagine under a better manager (me obviously as it is my XI) that he'd be doing more of those runs from MF like he did for the Remy Wigan goal plus he was solid defensively and could play in defence if needed. Criminally wasted player under us that went on to prove how good he actually was.

Enjoying these. Only two players make everyone's teams: Ale and Adel. Not surprising.

Granero, M'Bia, Diakité (although more understandable considering what happened to his family during the war in Mali) Mauricio Isla, Eduardo Vargas, Yun Suk young, Leroy Fer, Tjaronn Chery and a few more I expect that I have forgotten.

Absolutely, and that is from someone who, up to his arrival would have picked Clive Wilson every time. I was lucky enough to have watched all but one or two of his fifteen appearances and he was a beast in that position. Why we never bought him will remain a complete mytery to me. Especially as a permanent deal would have only been for between ÂŁ3-3.5m, chicken feed when you compare it to the money spunked on Samba.

Not for me but all about opinions. As for being a beast was he not the last man who collapsed as Aguero scored that goal?

I thought it was Ferdinand but not too sure, it was all a bit chaotic down that end in the last 10 minutes. Do you remeber that free kick that Taiwo scored from about 30 yards out? Might have been either Birmingham or Sunderland.

Not sure scoring a free kick makes him a beast or the best left back in 50 years but it is an opinion so neither right nor wrong.
