Not seen it discussed anywhere but assuming it will be under consideration for next season

Yes, absolutely. I want it installed because we too often seem to get decisicions against us.

Might be worth adding a poll as the first two replies already differ.

Absolutely not, based on what I've seen from how it's been used in the Premier League. The standard of officials in the Championship is generally so poor, I can only see it being an utter shambles. Let them get it right in the top flight before it's rolled out any further down the divisions.

No effing way. The dodgy decisions refs make, just by the law of averages, eventually even themselves out. The biggest thrill in sport is watching one of your players hit the back of the net and VAR is ruining that moment.

Might have benefitted from pens given against us

Tricky one. I'm so undecided on this I can't even decide if I'm undecided.

I'm undecidedly yes. Too much bad refereeing needs to be counteracted.

Absolutely not. I'll take the odd bad decision over this madness. Stopping games for minutes at a time while a bunch of blokes in a room make the wrong decision anyway, it's an utter joke.

I think the easiest way to clear up the delays is they get one minute review if they can’t make decision in that time original decision stands

yes but only if there is an overhaul to the VAR system. they've completely fucked it up already by taking too long and somehow getting decisions wrong

Nope. Has become more of a talking point than the contentious issues it is supposed to take the doubt out of.

For fans, football should be emotional, it’s what sets it apart from so many other sports. Take that away and it will be to the detriment of the game itself imo. Allowing half a dozen stiffs in a studio to start making decisions about a goal will eventually dilute the emotional release which makes a goal so much more special than a 6 in cricket or a try in rugby. At present, fans are forgetting about VAR and celebrating a goal like they’ve always done. If VAR becomes the norm I personally think that will change and fans will develop a hesitancy as they’ll wait to see whether it will be given. At the moment it’s a quick look at the linesman/ref which takes a millisecond and then you can jump up and down like an 8 year old before making obscene hand gestures to the away fans. Refs and linos have been making mistakes since the year dot. The only thing driving this is money, which yet again is chipping away at the beautiful game.

No chance.
Unless they change the stupid laws about having a toe offside and it brushing your arm. Plus they show you on the screen what they are looking at.
Without those changes, no chance I want it.

I'd hate all those bad decisions against us that I've seen over the years to actually be proved to be right...

Dumbass idea. The NFL allow teams two reviews per game and the call is reviewed by the officials referring the game. It's sensible. But that's why the planks running football don't allow it.

Its a no from me until they actually get to grips with the system.
Having said that the standard of officiating is lousy at the moment, maybe they could start by making them more accountable.
Sorry,i am thinking Keith Stroud

No offsides though which cause most the problems. Pens and red cards seems sensible approach

No. Not for me. Don’t mind goal line technology, as in all fairness you can’t expect the officials to get that right.

No. Would say yes if concerted effort was made to improve refereeing and bomb out twats like Stroud. Also hate the delayed offside flag - someone will get injured unnecessarily, maybe already has somewhere - and offside should be where your feet are not some other body part. The pitch lines are on the grass not 6 feet in the air.
