We took decent numbers ,must of been 1100 hardy souls travelled to Derby, with no trains up from London ,in the freezing cold ,thats a fair turnout . So why was the singing so rubbish ? Vast majority of us were geezers aged 16 to 60, just the sort who you might think would vocaly get behind our team !But no .... We were outsung by the home fans and that twat with a drum ! Half time ,everyone was up for a sing song !!!!! Back during the game ........Silence I just dont get it ,we travel away with enough lads ,why dont they vocally get behind the lads on the pitch ?I It would make the whole away experience so much better if the travelling Rs were more up for it

I don't think we do bad Vesps, one of the reasons I like an away game is the banter and piss taking that goes on. At least all the singers are in one place and get heard. We're hopeless at home to be fair. I find that more disappointing.

Our songs are so boring and all the same format. I like "we're the Rangers, the might Rangers, we're going to win/draw away" chant. Other than that, I don't think we have one unique song. I still think we should be signing "Always look on the Bright Osayi Samuel" (always look on the bright side of life). Missed the change to sing "He's got arse hair, on his head, he's got arse hair, on his head, he's got arse hair, on his head he's got arse hair on his head". Coleen, is a grass, Coleen, is a grass etc. (same tune as what Millwall done with Bircham all those years back where they sid hes got a lion on his arm and hes got bird shit in his hair).

Prob sang Bobby Zamora to which Derby fans would have sung it louder.
Btw, I am not knocking anyone that goes. Fair play to give up your time and money.

Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember the original Loft over the stairs in the old terrace. The ancestral home should be restored😁

Sitting down kills atmosphere. It really annoys me that we have such a sitting culture. The bulk of teams only stand at away games, none sit. Other than teams like Brentford and Wigan.

We don't have good songs. Was at Ibrox a few weeks ago and there were two great drummers who made sure people were singing loud and clear. About 10 minutes of continuous singing of just one song: follow follow Glasgow Rangers..That was marvellous.

Surely it's allowed to borrow other tunes as long as we have our own words? That new "follow follow Glasgow Rangers" has just lovely tune. Can't get it out of my head. Follow follow Queen's Park Rangers. That's the first line. Please continue.

We sing follow already why would having another version alienate Irish fans???
We’re QPR and any song is QPR related if fans, of any background, want to attach it to political beliefs that’s their problem not ours

I wouldn't worry about alienating a % of the fan base. It is only going to be a small percentage and then its only a percentage of those that would be singing anyway so we wouldn't be talking thousands.
We need better, catchy chants that's for sure. And less (no) sitting at away games.

And less (no) sitting at away games. Completely disagree. The Old Firm fans aren't all bigoted idiots but both clubs act as a magnet for people who are. I'm not saying, at all, that if we adopt Follow Follow as a song (and I think West Acton may be getting confused with 'Hello, Hello' which has become so widespread that it is no longer synonymous with Rangers ) that we will be bigots or attract them - such a notion would be ridiculous - but we should steer well clear of trying to emanate any Old Firm club. We have always had a sizable Irish Catholic support and even if one of them is offended by us singing what has become a song which represents Glasgow Rangers then it is one too many in my opinion. I certainly wouldn't want us to have a song to the tune of The Fields of Athenry or The Boys of the Old Brigade... As for sitting down at away games... Totally agree. As I said above, people need to stop turning up at away games and demanding to sit in 'their' seats. We must be the only fans - or among a tiny minority - who have a large majority of people who are nerdy enough to want to sit in a randomly allocated seats at away matches rather than just sit anywhere with their friends. Sitting anywhere allows the fanbase to sort themselves out and it will naturally lead to those more vocal standing at the back and those who want to just site and watch the game to the middle/front. I don't go to away games anymore and it wasn't why I stopped going , but it was embarrassing seeing people look for 'their' seats at grounds. I didn't know we have a big Irish catholic fan base. I hadn't heard the song that Rangers sing either but i can't believe changing what they sing to suit us would offend people. Not sure why it would but religion isn't my forte. I dont mind people going to their seats, especially if its a packed away end. But don't tell the person in front of you to sit down.

Quite harmless? 'We've got the battle fever on, fight till the day is done' backed by a militaristic beat.... not so sure it's harmless SWL, especially given the context! As far as tunes go, I prefer the other one anyway.....

Interesting point for those talking about sitting anywhere, two Met have just moved a group of lads hoping to be vocal from the back of stand to their allocated seats at the front so will now be useless.

They should just stand at the front and make noise. I hope they did anyway. Standing where your seat is doesn't bother me. It's just the sitting at away days that really winds me up.

Why? We were far from selling out the end... Did some idiot moan about them because those were 'their' seats? No other explanation possible as the Police don't care normally. Stewards said only allocated seating and pointed them out. The influx at kick off probably got away with it but they were pretty obviously in the 'wrong' seats having gone in earlier.

Absolutely ridiculous... Stuff like that makes me happy I gave up away games. Harsh mate😂aways can still be good fun. The piss taking is often very funny and sometimes the atmosphere is really good - much better than at home now we have no home end as such. Always same faces though.
