I said similar on the match thread about Kane mate. He's a right back with very limited defensive skills. Looks great bombing forward when we are in possession, but defensively he's poor. Gets caught out of position a lot, also doesn't head or tackle particularly well. Hard to fathom how he's ended up plying his trade as a defender. Looks more like a midfielder to me. Ditto Manning on the other side too!

Agree though, 5m quid would be a very decent return for Manning. He'll never cut it at Left Back in the Prem though. Can only assume Wolves feel he can be developed into a decent Winger if there is truth in this rumour.

I agree Manning certainly didn't look like our most expensive player today, almost anything good he did was offset by a mistake. Wells had a very bad off day but I am going to leave it at that. Lumley had a very good game, along with Hall, Leistner, Amos and Pugh. I would have included Geoff Cameron in that lot but for that shocking header at the death. Hugill... not for me thanks; very good at shithousing but leans back at just about every shot he takes. Eze was doing a lot more hard work today but playing very deep until Wells went off and then he seemed to come into his own with Chair & BOS who would have been a candidate for MOTM if he had been on a bit longer. Kane, as noted above, very good going forward but weak defensively and Scowen wasn't on long enough to make much impression and MW could just as easily have left Amos on. The ref was shit for both sides and despite QPR spurning so many good chances they still should have had a penalty for the ball that Darren Pratley handled and the if the guy wrestling Hugill to the ground with his shirt halfway up his back wasn't a penalty then I haven't been going to football for almost 55 years. A draw that feels like a defeat has a silver lining I suppose but I am struggling at the moment to see it; still only 18 points from safety and it's not even Christmas yet.

Don't he was onside at any point mate, but I'd need to watch it back. Also not 100% what the interpretation is of that these days. I think the minute it comes off a defender everyone is considered onside.

but if your offside when ball is taken flag would go up surely, hitting defender has to be irrelevant. Don’t see how first infringement is cancelled out by it touching defending player. There was not enough time to say there was second phase to negate first one.
