Hadn't heard that rumour Westy. Paper talk, or something you've heard on the grapevine? Agree though, 5m quid would be a very decent return for Manning. He'll never cut it at Left Back in the Prem though. Can only assume Wolves feel he can be developed into a decent Winger if there is truth in this rumour. saw it this morning on wolves twitter page but MW has referred to it tonight.

We could plug a lot of holes in our leaky defence with 5m quid mate. I'd much sooner see Manning go than Eze!

I thought Cameron was pretty poor today. Missed most tackles and kept giving ball away I’m prob alone saying and thinking this but Manning is crap, I would get shot of him. One of the most over hyped players I’ve watched in the hoops but for some bizarre reason fans seem to love him. He's got a great left foot on him mate. 3 assists from Left Back so far this season. I just think we are utilising him wrong not positionally or defensively strong enough to make it as a defender. We should be trying to develop him into a left sided midfielder in my opinion. three assists not ground breaking Tarbs especially amount of ball he sees and balls he puts in. He’s really not that good. Can’t defend, tackle, poor passing, gives ball away loads, always out of position and shows no desire to get back when he’s got forward. I would not invest any more effort in him as I think he’s actually reached his potential. Any decent offer I would take. Decent offer for me would be £1mil get that and I would say cheerio Furlong got hammered week in week out but he’s twice the player Manning is but no one gives Manning stick (apart from me 😂)

Crap is what you get watching Sunday morning park football with hungover idiots trying to clog lumps out of each other. Every one of our squad has been deemed good enough to earn a contract playing Championship level football; trust me, as one whose highest level was Isthmian League Division 6, QPR do not have any crap players in the squad. in your opinion. In my opinion Manning is crap

Westy, I agree with you that Manning's no left back mate. I also don't quite understand how he's become such a fans favourite. But I do think there is a player in there. I just don't think we've ever played him in the right position.
Central Midfielder under Ollie, Left Back under Warbs. I don't think he's either. Play him left side of a 4 man midfield and I reckon he'd do well!

I’m not convinced Tarbs but you could be right. I don’t see the attributes for him to play wide left consistently as he’s pretty basic in all departments.
He’s 24 so not exactly a kid anymore so if he’s not learnt game now he’s going be up against it.
If he was squad player I could cope with his presence. Strikes me as type of player who actually believes his own hype

I don't have any issues with his attitude, application or anything like that myself mate. Gets caught out positionally a lot at left back though.
I think we both agree though that if Premier League sides are gonna pay big money for him then we should cash in and strengthen our defence with the proceeds.

This time's a million. He's got a lovely touch and a eye. Just can't defend as a LB has to. But was better at that than Kaned today. Boy was he poor. Manning could be a very good inside left. Which is where Pugh was great today btw.

but if your offside when ball is taken flag would go up surely, hitting defender has to be irrelevant. Don’t see how first infringement is cancelled out by it touching defending player. There was not enough time to say there was second phase to negate first one. Suppose all depends on how rule is worded. Not interfering with play til the ball reaches you under the current interpretation of the offside laws mate, are you? As you say mate, all comes down to the wording etc. I suspect it was probably onside though as per how the refs are currently being instructed. But the devil is in such details! 😫 #WhereIsYourAnorakWhenYouNeedThem?! this is the significant problem. We have two FB who cannot defend. Manning ain’t a full back Wests. What the fuck has happened to Wallace and Rangel?

I would take the rumoured 5 million for Manning as we will never get a bid as high again.

Proper unlucky for that 2nd goal as if it hadn't hit the top of Cameron's bonce their player would have been called for offside.

If the attackers had done their job with even a modicum of the expected return on shots on goal then the CAFC second would only have been a late consolation. The defence was better than the attack on Saturday this time.

Yes the strikers should do better considering the chances we create but nobody can defend Cameron for that 2nd goal poor goal yet again given away without any real quality from our opponents.

I just watched the short highlights and noticed the symmetry between Naby Sarr's mistake leading to an early goal for Geoff Cameron and Geoff Cameron returning the favour at the death. There can't have been many instances of that ever happening in a game.

Totally agree but actually I lay the blame at eze door for Saturday. We should be working on our game management, take it into the bloody corner instead of shooting. The game is won. We know the defence is piss poor so why put extra heat on them. Hopefully and I do mean hopefully we learn from it
