Can see why Prem sides would want Eze

As Warburton says, right price then no issue selling but we also need to make sure we have replacements lined up. No point selling if we don’t get some replacements in.

I would like to see us definitely safe from relegation first if Eze is to depart. My thoughts were : “Spurs, you can have him for £20m now but we want him loaned back for rest of season. Also want a 20% sell on clause and first option on any players you want to loan out”

Eze is under contract, English, young and very talented. And we are unlikely to be desperate for a quick sell. So we should be in strong position to drive price up and terms. Talk to Spurs but ask other top teams whether they are interested otherwise Spurs get him. Get more than 1 club involved and we’ll get a good price.

The way we're run dictates us needing a player or two sale every summer, and you'd like to think the £20-25m we should fetch for these two would put us in a very comfortable financial position that would enable us to keep the rest of the squad together and improve one or two positions.
Both cost peanuts didn't they when signing for us? Very impressive profit when they move on.

I think we've got to be realistic here. The club isn't in the best financial situation and young British players can fetch a pretty penny in the current transfer market. If these 2 players can fetch 20-30m quid between them it would be absolutely massive for the club.
Personally I don't think we'd feel the loss of Manning too much. If Wolves are genuinely ready to pay 5m quid plus for him then he should be sold. That money could be used to bring in 2 or 3 decent quality Championship standard defenders.
Eze on the other hand is integral. We will really miss him. He should only go if big money is on the table.

If we can get £5M for Manning would you take it ? Personally think we could get a better defensive LB but the amount he contributes going forward would be much harder to replace.

If we get 20-30 mill for them, cart horses that where reasonable b4 will become expensive as they know we got cash.

I would take 20 million even though losing Eze would affect our attractive style of play and he would be badly missed.

The only one we have coming through in the Eze languid midfielder with talent mode is Amrit Bansal-McNulty and I don't think he'll be ready until next season at the earliest. Jake Frailing is an even longer time away from a first spot but is definitely a prospect.

Chair is a long way from the finished article, but I think he'll be a number 10. Much better through the middle than out wide!

If you watch him play he complements Eze with his bustling, harrying style but he definitely doesn't have Eze's vision or touch.

Still, for me Chair is a better player through the middle than out wide for me. Decent headache to have though, trying work out how to fit 3 young talents like BOS, Eze and Chair into the same starting line up. If only we had the same kind of quality coming through in defensive positions!

Yeah, I am not seeing it in games I watch but maybe they are on the same learning curve as the first team as all the Academy teams now play the same way as the first team. Maybe Kefalis who is out on loan at Billericay at the moment but I wouldn't hold my breath. Giles Phillips hasn't really lit the place up at Wycombe and he looked decent in out U23's. I don't think Niko Hämäläinen will be the answer to our prayers either. If only we could have got Semi Ajayi before WBA got hold of him.

I don't think 5m gets you that these days, it would only be a like for like and that's assuming we get to keep 100% of the transfer fee.
