With all the criticism of what is wrong with the team, I thought I would just mention that with half the matches played we are averaging 1.4 points a game; that would have us finish on 64 points. Not bad for a team battling relegation.

If we never gave away cheap goals week in week out imagine how many points we could have

I stand corrected. Manning was £61k from Galway and BOS was £90k from Blackpool. Liam Kelly is our highest current transfer at £360k. A grand total of 11 days of Marcus Rashfords salary.

Mad to think that Kelly is actually our most expensive player. We do like a little whinge online but we've actually put together a pretty good Championship squad on a shoe string.
Warburton drives me potty with his gung-ho, score 1 more than you, forget defending, throw the kitchen sink at it style of football, but he has actually got a lot of things right.
I'd take him over our last 3 managers any day of the week

Now we have a proper manager, let’s stick with him. He has had the worst budget of any qpr manager that I can remember. Maybe back to Ollie in league 1.

liam kelly was only 50k according to many reports as he had a clause in his contract at livingston. still nuts either way though, i'm trying to rack my brain for who we've signed that cost any wedge of money

I am really happy with this season so far. Entertaining football, no thoughts of relegation, bringing on youngsters and a manager who is getting the best out of a new bunch of players who collectively cost nothing!

The ex-Rangers goalkeeper becomes former Ibrox boss Mark Warburton’s first signing at Loftus Road. The 23-year-old invoked a release clause at Livi, allowing him to leave for an undisclosed fee, believed to be £50,000, despite having one year left on his contract."

Even at 50k he was our most expensive signing this summer though Corbs. Everyone else was a loan or a freebie. Admittedly we are probably paying pretty hefty loans fees for the likes of Hugill, Wells etc. but I'm not sure there is a single player in the team these days we've paid much more than a small nominal fee for.
It's what we're about as a club. I much prefer a manager who knows how to work the transfer market like Warburton has been able to than go back to the silly days of Hughes and Harry where we were chucking money at wankers who didn't even want to wear the Hoops!

When he is on fire like Saturday, he is a beast. You could see the Charlton defense was scared shitless and didn't know how to deal with him at all.
