THAT Oldham game. Twice. I'll never tire of hearing how the excitement and atmosphere will never be bettered, how if the good lord himself came down and granted the wish of one last match... If I see it on youtube I get jealous and angry.

If I see it on youtube I get jealous and angry. I was told by someone who lived just off Wood Lane, the Shepherds Bush end, he heard the roar when we scored. Must admit the atmosphere that night was superb

Yeah I missed Oldham. Also missed Watford away the day we won the title. Me too and I would have liked to have been at the League Cup Final as well but I was only three so can't really count that. I also missed the Sheff Wed away game.

I missed both the Oldham and Sheff Wed games. Going through a life restructuring phase around then.😂
Wish I’d missed the ‘86 final in hindsight. ☹️

I also missed the Sheff Wed away game. I was in the p upper and that stand physically shook. The atmosphere that night before, during and after the game will take some beating. Absolutely insane. Missed sheff Wednesday away down to work which I’ve never forgiven myself for

Save for not having a time machine ( it’s still in the workshop) the only games I’ve missed that I’m gutted I didn’t go to have been ones that I wasn’t allowed to go to at the time by the powers that be.me sister set her first sons christening for the day of the play orf in Cardiff with me as the godfather. I told her I couldn’t fulfill her wishes and she in real life run me over when she got the rebuke.which I do actually get.once the time machine is up and running I’d love to go back to our cup run in 67 and go to all the games me old man went to along the way to the final.

chelsea away when the little fella swp got the winner , my son said can we go i said no we'll only get beat again was superb night. We all met in Bush for beers early as it was New Year’s Day and we spoke about missing game and staying in pub as thought we would get dicked. Glad we went though and every Ranger took the piss outside after

We drunk round Balham before the match ,and like you considered not bothering too ! ( ill still never forgive that little shit for not celebrating )
