If we're going by what we paid for them:
Hill - free
Derry - free
Taarabt - £1m? His contribution worth millions to the club even though it was wasted in the years that followed
Mackie - free
Dunne - free
Smithies - £3m? Some big performances during a bad patch for the club
Eze - free
Manning - 60k weren't he?
Freeman - 700k?
Austin - 3m
Just goes to show the lack of value we got out of the players the club actually spent big money on in fees or wages.

Hill was the best over a long period of time so would have to on any short list. Dunne, Austin, were great in 13/14 as were Derry, Faurlin Paddy and Adel in 10/11 season.
