Good job on a shoestring and all that but how comes he cannot set up a decent defensive side when we all know good teams are built from not conceding goals ?
Is it the "Rangers Way" that is hindering our progression ?
Personally, I'd rather see us solid at the back and dangerous on the break than attractive with the ball....I mean, it did Leicester ok to build from didn't it?
Get it right at the back and you can build from there. Hopefully we can set some of this right in the jan window

All four were rock solid at the back, then built from there. |

All four were rock solid at the back, then built from there. This manager has no regard whatsoever for the defensive side of the game. Yes when we play flowing attacking football we are a joy to watch but when we defend as we did yesterday and in other games then we are bloody ugly. |

Was thinking we can bring 100 defenders in but until doing the basics is prioritised and we cut out the mistakes don’t matter who defenders are we’re going to leak goals
As much as we can rest of the season, injuries allowing, Wallace LB, Cameron RB. We become big and solid immediately

I was thinking to myself 'what kind of warbler is Warbs?' Not a Marsh warbler (although I'm sure he'd love one in the squad), certainly not a Dartford warbler or a Garden warbler or even a Sedge warbler. And probably not a Grasshopper warbler either, creeping through the undergrowth, being a bit of a ventriloquist. No, I've settled on a Chiffchaff. Always trying to pick insects out of the air on the wing, never thinking about the bloody basics.

It’s harsh but I think I would ease Rangel out now. He’s been injured most the season (and most of last) and when he has played on occasions he’s looked his age. Not sure if that’s overly brutal or not but he’s not long term future and not offering much now
Could we squeeze one more season out of him as squad player?
