15 league starts in 18 months, earning 10 grand a week. No brainer when you look at that. He absolutely should not be getting his contract renewed. I was shot down for this comment at the time. I'd be keen to see what people think now? For me, as good as Wallace is when he plays, you can't afford to have a first team player who misses more games than he plays, especially when you only have 2 players for each position in the squad. A huge reason we are struggling this season is down to lack of options for the wing back positions. The last 2 games we've lost turned when we had to take McCallum off because he's been rushed back from injury. |

i think he deserved a new deal as he was sensational in the 2nd half of last season and played like he was 10 years younger.
for sure i think we're missing him at LWB, mccallum has been great there don't get me wrong but wallace' experience in defence and attack is invaluable.
its one of those things that sadly hasn't worked out yet but who knows? he could come back from injury and slot right back in. only time will tell but i do believe that this has to be his final season with us.

Basically puts way too much pressure on McCallum (who has his own injury problems). I suspect he probably got rushed back a couple of games too early, given the way Warburton seems to be wrapping him cotton wool and subbing him on 60 minutes. |

If he’s used wisely I don’t think he will breakdown but run him into the ground like we do then yes liability But personally would prefer a wisely used Wallace in squad then a Ball if I had to choose |

Only now we are seeing how good in the final third Wallace has been for us. We are lacking in creativity and our WB are just not offering it. The sooner Wallace is back the better

41 appearances out of 116 for Wallace since he joined the club. By that ratio we can maybe expect another 7 or 8 games out of him before he leaves for a free in the summer. Just buy a new 1st team left back now for FFS.

Shame injuries took their toll, good player when fit and did very well for us when in the team. Probably vindicates the decision not to renew.
