Safe standing, electric atmosphere, proper old fashioned pitch invasion with youngsters adterwards, and what a performance by one Josh Laurent..... dominated MF totally 2nd half.
His gaffer changed the system at HT.... They're looking at a 1m payday. There was an awful lot to learn from all this for us on almost every level, on and off the park.
Not least in the way Klopp spoke afterwards. No excuses, put his hands up, fronted it. Great cup tie.

Laurent was exceptional, even after Liverpool subs came on. Bossed it.

Very strange that they did let him go (I guess) It says on his wiki page that the club tried to keep him, but couldn´t convince him there was a path to the first team, so he left January 2015. Makes sense that. It was just before Harry´s knees went. |
