Over there good post about falling out of love with the game. Years ago loosing pissed me off. No more. I used to watch all football on tv etc, hardly ever now. It may be an age thing but game is not what I grew up loving. The grounds were crap, the game was exciting, atmosphere was good, everyone had a chance against everyone. Sorry but game is sterile now.

I lost some of my passion having to suffer Holloway. I’ve not been as engaged since. That guy killed my love for the game and the club

I lost it after Chris Wright got it back between 2002-2005 then lost it again until the Flavio takeover. Warnock brought me back to the mid eighties to mid nineties where I felt proud of my club again. Mark Hughes and Tony Fernandes have taken it all away again and not sure that passion will ever be the same. Will always love the club but not to the point where it is important enough to ruin my weekends.

Tv saturated with football now and you need 101 subscriptions to watch them all.
Used to watch it all. Miss a game now I couldn’t care less.
When we went up and spent a quarter of a billion £ on a load of useless c***s who made us worse (how is that even possible) was enough for me.
We used to be a lot of people’s second club and became one of the most hated. Soured it all for me.
I will say though I’ve really enjoyed a lot of games this season. Very exciting equally as frustrating with other matters, GK situation, clean sheets etc.

Even though we haven't seen the 2018-19 figures yet, this should give some of those saying we should just say fuck FFP and throw money at whatever we need to get to the EPL some food for thought. With no parachute payments I can see why every penny counts these days with gate receipts hovering around £9m a season it doesn't take a genius to work out it isn't going to be easy to stay within the P&S regulations. threadreaderapp.com/thread/1099955695695421441.html

I just hope if we dont get anyone in we remain in the championship, the club are gambling which i hope bears fruit. Only time will tell

I know we are trying to operate in a very tight budget and with essentially both hands tied behind our backs.
I really feel the powers that be behind this ffp or whatever it is called will not be happy until we have been relegated.
