There expectations were to go straight back up
Thought he was doing good job myself but they do blow hot and cold. Odd time to pull trigger when 4th and comfortably in playoffs

I've been reading a lot of fans comments on this. The consensus is that whilst he has got the players working hard, tactically he's very poor. They are also yet to win a home game in 2019. Seems a lot of their fan base feel they should be in the running for automatic promotion.

If someone had said to me at 4.50pm on the 18th of August last year that Mclaren would still be in a job and Moore would be not at the start of March, I would have thought them Heavens Gate Cult members in their extraterrestrial spacecraft following the Comet Hale–Bopp.
