Why is he bringing Kane on when have a clean sheet within our grasp. An out and out defender for a bloke who cannot defend.

Taken a point before hand so happy on that front. We need to put chances away.

Good battling performance. Not pretty but a good point. Need to see it again but was Barbet lucky not to give away a penalty right at the end?

Crap free kicks Crap corners Should of won Take a point but should be three Got away with one at the end seen penalties given Barbet why make the challenge there naive.
Overall settle for a point but dissappointed as well

No pen for me
Got say it was breath of fresh air having Barbet back. Look more composed and offers another outlet from the back

i'd have taken a point at the start of the match but game was there for the taking.
subs came far too late and weren't positive enough imo. that game was crying out for clarke and oteh to come on for pugh and hugill.
man oh man though that ref was DREADFUL

Not sure how anyone can be unhappy with an away point and a very rare clean sheet? Good result given our poor run of form of late.

I thought Manning & Cameron both had very good games and Eze & BOS both doing well but not getting any protection from the ref. Pugh came into the game a lot more in the second half but not much else in the way of sparkle from the rest of the team, Barbet did alright in his first game back, Rangel a steady professional performance, Hall hit and miss, Ball was quietly effective without shining and Kelly didn't have a lot to do but put my heart in m y mouth at the death with that fumble. Hugill I shan't comment on.

Going forward having watched him tonight how is Hugill going to lead the line game in game out till the end of the season? Looked fucked at the end, Never seen a number nine not attack the front post or penalty spot like him. He really concerns me as our main threat.

The only frustrating thing about tonight is that we missed some pretty great chances, we need to perform at the same level on Saturday and be a bit more clinical.

Good point but fuck me swansea are shit. Totally there for The taking and we’ve got to stop missing chances. Thought the game was crying out for oteh to use his pace. 3/4 times we nearly got in through a through ball but that’s not really hugills game. Thought ball was quite poor and gave the ball away cheaply. Eze needs to liven up with his corners or hook him from them. They are great chances in a tight game uspecially with the lump up front and we consistently waste them. All being said delighted with the clean sheet but we really should have won it.

Hugill as long as he gave his all can do no more . No one else to put up front . On the positive side a clean sheet

I look forward to see what Oteh can do. Hugill is obviously another kind of striker but his now far too static in front of goal. He has to make clever runs and attack the first post more often..imo. I`m very happy with point, we could easily have lost, because Swansea should have got two penalties.

Can’t complain too much about a point away and would have taken that all day long before the game. But can’t help feeling like we dropped 2 points there, given how absolutely shite Swansea were.

Good point. Would have liked a few positive subs near the end, but can understand why Warbs wanted to keep the shape. Hugill did a lot of defensive work, and our defensive shape looked mostly good with the front four battling hard, when we lost possession. Warbs was probably afraid to lose another game on the spin, which kind of makes sense to me.

Hugill will be kicking himself. He knows by his standards he should’ve tucked that chance away. Face it, Swansea were so poor, they were there for the taking. An away point and clean sheet is still good considering our recent form so mustn’t grumble, but it should have been three in all honesty.
Positives: (for Esox 😉)
Manning played well! The time out did him good as he’d started believing his own hype.
Kelly continues to impress. Def better keeper than Lumley imo.
Better games from Eze and Bright compared to last few games.
Rangel was great until he tired. Just a shame he’s not a few years younger.
Good return display from Barbet. Masterson can consider himself unlucky to lose his place. Would actually consider playing him alongside Barbet.
