I liked Watson when he played for us, but that was 12 years ago.
We do need experience in midfield, just not sure Watson has the legs for it now.

Saw threads elsewhere suggesting MW likes to play with a holding MF player receiving the ball off the Keeper and defenders to start the attacks as per his Glasgow Rangers days.
Can’t remember Cameron or Ball doing that very often.
Watson came on a short loan years ago but did not stand out for me other than committing lots of fouls.

If Watson is on a free, I have no issues with it. As I said above, he's barely missed a game for Forest all season. So clearly fitness ain't an issue. He's got the potential to be another Clint Hill or Shaun Derry type of singing. |

He's in great nick for a guy his age. No reason at all to think he couldn't have a couple more season at this level in him. |
