Friend in Northampton says he's decent defender and they didn't want him to leave. Owner was in their local press saying he wouldn't talk at less than 750 so we might have got a good one.

Watkins and Benrahma are available for 18m and 20m respectively apparently.
This brings a bit of perspective to some of chat about of us under valuing Eze. If we are using those two as a benchmark then 15 to 20m for Eze would be a good return in the current market.

To be fair the world has changed since January. Maybe the posh need the money? Stranger things have happened. We’ve been fucked by bigger clubs for years, be nice for it to work the other way for once. We had money to spend in January and we didn’t plus player sales from eze/bright. I actually think we will spend a few quid this summer . Depends how desperate they are

Toney wants to join Celtic who were supposed to be coming back in for him as they baulked at the asking price wgich was anything between 5 and 10 million. Barry Fry has told Celtic to hurry up as other teams were closing in on signing him which is them trying to hike the price up and this twitter rumour is most likely the same thing. Reckon Posh have invented this bid just for twitter |

I think he'll make a great player with another year or 2 development under his belt myself mate. He has really good ability, just needs a bit more time to learn the game. I wouldn't want us breaking the bank to get him though. There are so many capable players available on free transfers, we really don't need to fall into the trap of going after expensive players that are in demand. |

I never really got the Amos criticism!
Young player, in his first full season in the championship after being injured for a very long time and done a very good job.
He wasn’t a superstar but solid enough, kept the ball very well, high energy and looked imo comfortable at this level.
I agree with Tarbie, as long as he doesn’t cost a stupid fee then I think he’d be a great signing.
