Had great start with us tailed off a bit but last few games of season was back to his best. Would be all over this signing

I never really got the Amos criticism! Young player, in his first full season in the championship after being injured for a very long time and done a very good job. He wasn’t a superstar but solid enough, kept the ball very well, high energy and looked imo comfortable at this level. I agree with Tarbie, as long as he doesn’t cost a stupid fee then I think he’d be a great signing. I agree. There's more to come from Amos and I hope he discovers that with us. |

I guess, having been signed by Spurs, there's a player there. Obviously technically accomplished, but in far too many games he looked to me like a lightweight adornment. Like he was making the step up to championship football, not down from the PL, but lacking the drive, hunger and aggression a championship midfielder needs. If price is right, sure, but he shook nothing up this past season.

Still a young lad and has spent a fair period of time out injured, its bound to be in the back of his mind. I think he's shown a few times this season that he's got something about him, not always though. I reckon its worth the risk. |

amos would be a great signing for us. sure he didn't light the world on fire with us but he was solid enough and knows the style that we want to play.
hes the kind of signing we should be looking at as hes still young and has the potential to improve

Amos is a player I think will improve in a more balanced team where every player knows their role, In that respect and as far as midfield is concerned: Whose to sit deep and whose to go etc. He also lacks a bit self belief, but that is something he is working on they say.

Sky are reporting that Boro have gone back in with an improved offer for Goode.
Looks like we could miss out on one of our key targets if indeed he is actually one of them!!
