And mine, despite my user name I was actually born in Kings Lynn. Fortunately I escaped aged six 🤣😉 Done well to escape when you did mate,kings Lynn is a right old dump nowadays Yes. For years I went back at least once a year as we had a lot of relatives there but they have mainly died off so it is just an occasional funeral now. We were in South Wootton which was ok to be honest but yes, I was lucky my old man found a job up here. |

Sky sports now reporting that Charlie Goode should sign for Brentford today. Hope the club has other targets in mind as badly need reinforcements at the back

Masterson, Barbet, Leistner, Gubbins, our current CBs on the books. Osman Kaykay and Geoff Cameron can play there too if needs be mate. Still though, not enough. Particularly given that Leistner will have his eye on the exit door. I'm actually a little surprised at how slow the transfer market has been so far. I'd expected a lot more activity at Championship level. Might be a mad rush at the end of the window. |

Some of the negativity on here is beyond ridiculous. Can anyone actually tell me what the club has done wrong so far this window?
Reduced the wage bill, held onto all our key players (so far) and brought in 3 young British players with potential, for minimal outlay. I'm under no illusions about how well the club is being run, but I am at a loss to see how anyone could find fault in our dealings so far this summer.

And you'd probably be the one leading the lynch mob if the club sold the likes of Eze, BOS or Manning for a fee that is "too small". Club can't win, can they?!! |

This idea that we've held on to players worries me. Les is on record saying all our players are for sale. The reason no one has gone is likely to be that no one wants them or won't pay our price. It won't be a secret that we need money - the owners won't bale us out forever, it's business - so if potential buyers hang on we'll end up selling for 'an undisclosed fee'.......that means too cheap by fans' expectations.

Picking up someone on a free and selling them on for potentially 20 million quid shows signs of progress for a club in our division. The constant moaning and whining is embarrassing. We’ve made some strides over the past couple of seasons and turned the tide. What’s done is done but we are slowly moving forward, I really don’t know what some “fans” expect |

apparently adomah is avaliable for a cut price fee. would love to see him here if only as a backup option like pugh last season. could still do a very good job at this level and would be passionate about playing for us

I don’t think we can really move forward without selling Eze and using some (10m?) to buy some quality defenders. Eze would be a massive loss but we are very weak at the back.

I'm not 100% sure of that. A few guys that know a bit were suggesting that this summer would be something of a watershed moment in terms of the harshest part of the FFP sanctions. Of course we have also got the challenge of reduced revenues cos of Covid, but that can to some degree be offset by shifting a few high earners (Hall, Pugh and Rangel in particular). I'd imagine we'll be looking to bring in at least 1 central defender. Probably 2 if we can find someone to take Leistner off our hands. |
