I thought Warburton said he’s on verge of Scottish squad? He holds both nationalities and both national teams want him as I understand it. Maybe Warbs knows something that we don't with regards to the players preference?!! |

Sky are reporting that Boro have gone back in with an improved offer for Goode. Looks like we could miss out on one of our key targets if indeed he is actually one of them!! according to west london sport, goode is a backup target. our main target is rob dickie from oxford. will cost a couple of mil. Looks like Newcastle are in for that Rob Dickie now! |

Dortmund and PSG battling it out to sign Wilf Zaha apparently. That's gotta be good news for us. If Palace get a decent fee in for Zaha they should be in a position to gives us the 20m we want for Eze.

We always have this perception of them being profitable. I can't see Zaha not moving in this window and if they get 50m plus then that should help us negotiate a better deal. Hopefully other clubs will come forward for Eze as well then |

For 5m quid plus probably upwards of 30 bags a week, they are welcome to him. Hugill is a decent Championship player, but never worth the outlay!

not really fussed about missing out on hugill, yes he scored 15 goals but i can't ever remember him ever having a 'great' game for us. plus his wage demands are gunna be through the roof

We never went for Wells at 5 million so not to fussed about Hugill going to Norwich as not great value even at the price quoted. Proven he is not a PL player so his sell on value will not be much more if anything at all. Did well last season and wish him luck wherever he goes

Shame we couldn’t get Hugil back on loan as I personally thought he did great for us last year and a return of 15 goals and the hard graft was very decent at that level.
I think he will do very well at Norwich and good luck to him.
The Dykes deal makes much more sense now and I just hope we are also targeting another striker as part of our recruitment process as we will defintely need at least another one and ideally in the form of Wells
Type character whose nippy and knows where the goal is!
