I'd probably agree that Brentford have more pulling power than us at this moment in time. Not sure why there is a Brentford fan on a QPR supporters site giving it the big'un though. I initially came on to correct lots of misinformation about our new stadium and to checked out how Mr Barbet was doing. Also liked to see what you thought of us and how we were doing. Quite like it on here actually you mostly seem a decent grounded bunch who live in the real world. As for the Bees I can't quite believe we are looking at players for £10m! Would never have thought that possible in my over 55 years of supporting. Anyway I used to alternate between the Bees and Rangers in the Bowles Francis and Givens era going to LR with my cousin. |

Anyway we start again having probably sold our 3 best players as is our business model. So look for a poor start from us again although we did beat Derby 3-0 without them on Tuesday. Bottle went first against Stoke then against the fools. Big players all season never turned up. Your model works for your club but paying 10 nillion for a player is moving away from that model. |

Once you start buying players at that value your adding risk (which we well know) and it only takes few bad buys and all the hard work you have done for years is undone. Could be a cross roads |

Ivan’s looked a player for a while now and someone id loved us to have taken a punt on back then. Got all the attributes to be a very good player at this level. Washington had one purple patch and has been absolute horse shit everywhere else. |

We once bought a striker from them who did not exactly set the world alight. fair point, its always a gamble spending big money on anyone. toney looks proper quality though and should fit brentfords style well. even if he doesn't do well at brentford i still think its low risk for them simply due to them still being 30m in the green on sales so they'll still have financial security |

No club who has just sold someone in the public eye would come out and say we now have £20m to spend. Prices and wages would then go up.
