A player who seems to have vanished from the earth is Zack Clough. I think he would have complemented Dykes up front IMO..

Looks like we will push on with the Rob Dickie deal once Eze signs. He is genuinely a top class defender and imo if he’s been our first choice target all along it will make sense why we never went for Goode and will demonstrate who is the bigger club as Dickie is a Rolls Royce of a cb and defintely on another level to Goode who I do also rate!
I also like the links to Cullen who is a very good midfielder and imo would compliment Amos and Ball in the middle of the Park very nicely.

He’s top class - would be an amazing signing and as I mentioned on another thread it would demonstrate the bigger pull we still have over Brentford as Dickie is the best defender in league 1 and is being watched by Prem clubs as well! I believe he still lives in Reading and doesn’t want to relocate so this would suit him! |

I agree our squad is very thin and we definitely need 4/5/6 players - we have now loads Wells, Hugil and Eze who scored the majority of our goals along with Pugh, Hall and Rangel who were also first team members.
Leinster is due to go as well and we have a largely untested team at this level and one of the leakiest defects in the league minus our goal scorers. Right now it’s the perfect recipe for relegation.
I love the fact we are bloodng young players but we need to get the right mix and I personally think the board will back Warbs in the window and we will see players come in.
We need a squad not just a first 11 and right now we are well short - gk, rb,cb, cm, winger, cam and 2 x strikers needed.
Dieng might be the answer in goal and maybe Kakay at Rb, but I think he’s more suited at cb and should be first choice back up behind barbet and hopefully dickie.
Mido is very hot and cold, Smyth I like and Thomas in untested plus we don’t know if BOS will stay or not. We need more options here.
We cannot lose a player like Eze and expect chair to replace him as he’s just not on the same level - he also needs competition on that position and we need the depth in case he gets injured.
Up top I have high hopes for Dykes bit again untested and we need another option or two to compete over the season or change things up.
I think there are some great options in the market on frees and loans and we will have to wheel and deal on top of spend some money. However, I do not understand when some of our fans say we only need 2/3 players considering the amount of first team players we have lost.

That wasn't delusion more exhaustion and lack of experience. Anyway we start again having probably sold our 3 best players as is our business model. So look for a poor start from us again although we did beat Derby 3-0 without them on Tuesday. |

Who you lost mants not aware of you selling anyone No one yet but the word is Fulscum want Watkins for circa £25m, and Villa Benrahma £20m and various clubs are looking at Henry. On the other side we're strongly linked with Toney from Peterborough for £10m all in including sell ons and promotion clauses etc. |
