Ain't being funny chaps, but didn't we get BOS on the cheap as a result of him running his contract at Blackpool down to the last 12 months?
Can't really throw our toys out the pram too much when he's repeated the trick 3 years later. He probably drastically increased his earnings last time round, and he'll probably drastically increase them again this time. From his point of view, he's probably just thinking he's doing the best thing for his career and for his family.

Maybe, But clubs now profile the character of players and not sure too many will be queueing up to sign this bloke. |

Daily Mail saying we are back in talks with Palace over Eze and apparently the negotiations centre around add one and a percentage of the next sale and not a increase in the offer from 12 mill they offered a couple of weeks ago.
I really hope this isn’t true as we need the cash and we should just hold firm for the flat 20mill.
There’s plenty of time left in the window and more clubs imo will start to chuck money at targets as we go deeper into the window.

I think he’d be a good signing to.
As mentioned before Warburton got him playing his best football of his career so would make sense and probably a realistic target tbf!!

Tom Carroll is training with us currently.
I think he split opinion when he was at QPR last time but personally I thought he was a tidy footballer, just lightweight.
He would suit Warburton style and imo if available on a few he’d be a decent squad member. Not first 11 but we need to build a squad and have some depth to change things up if needed, rest players and backup for injuries.
I imagine he wouldn’t command a massive wage anymore so could be good business!

So lightweight a player. Six years ago? Never got near the team in the run up to the playoffs. agree that would be my thoughts of his time with us. I’m not a huge fan but that is based on his time with us, however, since then he’s gone away learned the game and I think is probably a better player now then the one we got who was really with us to learn his trade I can see him being offered something. Would he not be a product of Les, Ramsey and Timothys efforts at sours? |

Maybe Villa will just be happy to get him off the wage bill? I suppose a lot depends on how much interest there is in him. |

Similar kind of player to Scowen but a bit tidier on the ball from what I've seen of him. Would be a useful addition as really we only have Dom Ball that can do that job at the moment. I suspect Ball might be required a little more for defensive cover next season, looking at the current squad. |
