I'd love to be a fly on the wall for that negotiation. I'm assuming we are trying our best to get him to accept a pay off that is worth less than his salary for the remaining 11 months of his deal? If you believe what you hear, he's probably owed over a half million quid if we pay him up in full. Not sure how it got to this. Wasn't he apparently being scouted by other Championship clubs just a year back? Now we can't even give him away for free? |

I personally Think he’s worth retaining. No worse then any other CB Reading between the lines mate, I'm assuming he's had a run in with Warburton. I was told pretty early on last season that things weren't good between the 2 of them. I could understand why. Senior pro like Leistner would probably have something to say about the lack of defensive work in training. |

I'm not a fan of Leistner to be honest, mainly for those reasons, he's slow and not very agile. |

Senior pro like Leistner would probably have something to say about the lack of defensive work in training. his wife doesn't like living in england either and wants to go back home. nothing bad to say about toni, been a model pro for us and a good player. if anything i think he's been treated disrespectfully by the club and wasn't awful as a ball playing defender. best of luck to him either way |

We're doing fine. There will be a good few more in and a couple more out before the season starts. And the window runs for another 4 weeks after the season starts anyway. |

I think BOS had a good thing on the table from Club Bruges, but he turned his nose up at the contract offer. I don't think anyone else has come in with a genuine offer. Ditto Manning, lots of noise about interest from bigger clubs, but no concrete offers. I honestly don't believe either are ready for the Prem yet, but let's see what happens. Who knows what offers will transpire when we get nearer the end of the window.
From our point if view, it'd be better if an offer came in sooner rather than later. Give us a bit of time to re-invest the money. May not play out that way though!

Smyth, Ramkilde, Oteh and Dykes, so actually 4 Westy. BOS can also do a job up there if we are in a jam too. Don't get me wrong, I reckon BOS may not be here come the end of the window and the jury is very much still out on the rest. But it isn't quite as bad a situation as some like to make out!
