Nowhere near good enough to replace Eze though.

woodrow is more of a striker than a number 10, still a very good player who would probably be a good replacement for eze though.
if eze goes then we can't replace him imo, it's that simple. our playstyle will have to adapt to fill the void but i think we will rely on chair to step up as our main creative outlet next season. 

There’s no way imo we will go into next season with chair as the only option in the number 10 spot!!

Who steps in if he gets injured and what other creative options will we have?

I rate chair and happy for him to step but we can’t go into a full season with one number 10.

Let alone if he got injured but he needs so competition to push him and bring the best out him.

If Eze is sold it’s going to be important we replace him, whether we spend money on a straight first 11 replacement or someone who can play understudy to chair!

We have some nice ball winners and sideways passers but we need some creative minds and people who can see forward passes that other cant or we will struggle to open up teams!

We are definitely after one CB with Dickie supposed to be our number one target and has been all along.

I saw yesterday a few rumours banding around that Fulham might offer 15/16 mill plus Mawson which wouldn’t be horrendous.

I agree Materson should be a squad player but Warburton said again a week or two ago ideally he’d get him out on loan which I didn’t actually agree with. I think Barbet is decent at this level and when he came back in the team after Xmas we were so much more solid defensively.

I think the whole team really switched off after the lockdown and expect players to return to a mute professional and focused state when the season returns.

Hopefully manning and BOS stay but I saw a few reports yesterday which said both played like they wanted out. I didn’t watch the game so can’t comment but if that’s the case then I’d prefer to see them gone and Warburton given the percentage (whatever that is of) of 30 million pounds worth of transfer sales to rebuild the team.

I think all 3 will go and leinster will all be sold.

I look at those options and think our front 4 are relatively untested at this level, and we all know our defence leaked to many goals last year so we need to change something or be realists to the fact our defenders aren’t good enough.

All would add quality to our team and if we had a window where we were able to acquire some of the players linked above we’d have a very solid champ team and maybe could surprise a few people.

I’d also love to see us sign a striker in the form of a Wells type character, quick and a fox in the box type.

Don't know that much about Mawson, any good? If he is that could be a good deal.

Fulham signed him for 20 million from Swansea when they went up and he’s on 32k per week.

He’s a very good champ defender imo and 26 years old. Does suffer from injuries though which have hampered his development.

The lads from Hillingdon as well so this might make sense.

If he’s fit and playing well he’s a top defender and a upgrade on Goode for example.

My only question is how would we supplement his wages as I think he has 2 years left on his Fulham deal and we won’t get near 30k plus per
Week.

However, if we got 15/16 mill plus Mawson I’d be very happy. I can’t believe on Twitter I’m seeing qpr fans saying he’s not good enough for us lol. 20 mill defenders not up to standard for us anymore!!

Couldn’t agree more Hits!! I think Dickie will go all the way to the top and that’s why club likes Newcastle and Burnley are also monitoring his situation.

If we could get 20 mill from Fulham, Dickie is going to cost 3.5-4mill and would be imo the better investment purely because Mawson has had his injuries.

I’m just saying Mawson is a very good player when fit, especially at champ level, hence why Norwich have also enquires about him.

Someone just mentioned that Betenelli has been suggested as part of the deal which would be perfect imo. Very good GK!!

He might have been signed as 20mil defender but no way on this earth Was he worth that. Fulham got exploited like we did paying well over the odds
