To an extent I agree with what you say but Lumley was in the same position as Seny, and considered by the club to be a better prospect, and look how that has ended up. In his last game Dieng fucked up at the back and it resulted in a goal to the opposition. His manager said afterwards that he wanted him to carry on they way he played as he understood that mistakes happen. Contrast that with the dogs abuse that Joe was getting, even to being blamed for goals that weren't down to him but defenders mistakes after a while. If we can get £500k for Dieng it might be doing him a big favour in the long run. Our supporters are so toxic when things aren't going their way, both at the games and on social media. You only have to look at what happened to Josh Scowen to see that. There are too many "fans" that only appear when they get a chance to slag off the team or the club and even after a win, if they appear at all, there is usually a barb or a criticism of some part of the game rather than support for the winning of the three points. with all due respect Lumley does not have fans on his back because of one mistake they have been multiple and frequent Was about to say similar mate. I've had plenty of jobs where I'd not only have got an earful, I'd probably have got my P45 if I made as many costly errors as Lumley has in the last year or so.

Joe Lumley is nowhere near as bad as is made out on here.
His foot work has obviously been bad on a number of occasions when put under pressure , but can be improved very easily by putting his foot through the ball.
He takes up good positions to narrow down shot angles and is a very good shot stopper that have won us points in the past.
I can’t remember too many shots going through his gloves or body regularly that could be classed as a serious clangers
Liam Kelly has done ok but has no presence between the sticks ,he has no chance of claiming a cross and has conceded a couple of soft goals through bad positioning in my opinion.
There has never been too many decent Scottish Keepers that I can remember bar Andy Goram or Neil Sullivan.

He threw a few people out his flying helicopter but he narrowed the angle to the ground. His diplomacy wasn't great but could of been worked on. He was very commanding.

Alan Rough was decent too. Remember him playing for Scotland but never played at higher stage at club level. For every Scottish keeper that was half decent you could name thirty better keepers playing for England in my opinion of course.

I know Sparx, it was a tongue in cheek comment about Rough. I do agree with you, but who knows, perhaps Liam Kelly could go on to be an exception. He's certainly more consistent and less error-prone than Lumley. Keep Dieng and Kelly I say, and lose Lumley if we have to sell one of them.

Lumley installs as much confidence in me as Gary glitter baby sitting. He does well then drops a bollock . He may go on to be a decent guardian but don't think it be in our shirt.

Let's hope that if it is true that we can squeeze £2-3m out of them for him. I would rather he stays in case BOS is off as I don't think Dalling is as good as Shodipo.

Under 24 Corbs. As such if Shodipo goes to a side in England this summer we are due a fee of some description. Very much doubt it will be the 2 or 3m that Esox suggested though. Given the limited amount of game time Shodipo has had I dont think a tribunal would recommend anything like that amount.

Rated at £90k on transfermarket my thoughts were based on a Bees tariff as they tend to get shitloads when they sell on. £100k and a sell on?

Amazed if Brentford wanted him. Why would they want a player who never plays as he’s Always injured and therefore has never had chance to prove himself
Think Brentford are shopping in a different market then Shodipo

I think if Shodipo was gonna make it at Championship level or higher it would have happened by now. Wouldn't be surprised if another Championship side picked him up this summer, I just don't really expect him to kick on that much.

He signed a contract to 2022 in Sept 2019. www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/mide-shodipo-extends-qpr-contract-to-2022/

I think there is a player in him Tarbs but he’s not a kid no more and has next to no actual game time experience because he’s always injured. I would like hold on to him but don’t think if he left he’s going to a club higher then us, simply because he’s a risk if you sign him. What are you actually getting??
