i rate manning, he's an overall improvement on bidwell (not by much though, just that hes involved more) but wouldn't be heartbroken if we sold him.
we could easily replace him without much hastle imo and the money generated would be better invested elsewhere.
we will probably need a new LB, 2 new CB's, a CM, a winger, probably 2-3 new strikers and possibly a new RB so we need to raise the cash for it

Getting a few mil for player we signed for less than 100k? is type o business we need to do more of. Funny he signed here as a striker if memory serves me right and now thought of as a LWB

Take the money and wish him well and then look to re invest in the squad. Jagielka and a young cb to go with Masterson would be a smart move especially if you get him in as a player coach. With the coaching solely focusing on the defensive side. Great signibg with leadership qualities as well.

Jagielka has recently signed another contract with blades..didn’t realise he was 37..transfermarket still showing out of contract.
There isn’t too much to choose from in Championship regarding exp CB other than Shotton and Friend at Boro or Williams at B City
