Very good news, finally. But why would they do anything at Warren Farm? To keep the council sweet in order to progress Linford Christie? totally different boroughs so Can’t see it being that I assume it’s in connection to continuing out positive outreach and community work And hopefully to fuck ofF the nimby so he dont get his own way for the sites use As example Gunnersbury park have new sports facilities being built and Brentford’s badge is plastered all over it

Will stop a few saying TF and Amit etc have nothing to show for their time at club too Fernandes has to show for his time at QPR? The highest wage bill in championship history, A wage bill 178% of the turn over, A transfer strategy that never showed a profit on a single player who was purchased during our 3 years of spending. FFP fine for the above which has meant we have been trading in marbles these past few years. Inherited a promoted PL team and returned them to the bottom half of the championship so suppose he has done a lot for us just very little in a positive way as a football team. Nine years to find a training ground to buy while our neighbours are re developing or in Brentford's case building a new ground for the team and club to prosper. Sorry Westy but Fernandes is without doubt a total clown/buffoon in our history.

This can only be good news really, can’t it.
Let’s not forget that it wasn’t OUR choice to have Warren Farm take so long. We could have been in there and settled by now if not for a bunch of saddos.

Very good news that now we have a training ground that the club own. I don’t care who’s name is on the deeds as it can only improve the calibre of player that it may attract to join.
It’s no secret that teams with a Cat 1 training ground produce more talent on a regular basis...I wonder what category we will be aiming for in our redevelopment plans ?
Having a nice plush training ground is still secondary to me as youngsters training and playing with better quality players will always accelerate their development faster.
The new training ground may also be used as a FFP smokescreen if times do get tough and decide to sell it for 10 times its worth like other clubs have supposedly done.

Devil is in the detail so a perfectly reasonable question.
Holdings Ltd would be my guess. Current directors: Uncle, Ruben, Amit, James Reuben, and Kama.
I'd be pretty sure the land is protected by covenants meaning that it can not be exploited as commercial or domestic property.
re the generals post - Since Tune Group effectively are QPR, there wouldn't be much point in buying it and selling it back to themselves.

I assume when Fernandes set out on Warren Farm that the owners were paying for it? If that was the case you now have a clear indication of how the interest and commitment has dwindled.

londonnewsonline.co.uk/plough-lane-bond-raises-more-than-5m-with-organisers-hoping-scheme-can-hit-7-5m/Was just reading more into this bond scheme and it looks like it has worked really well for the likes of AFC Wimbledon who to date have raised 7.5 mill towards their stadium and also Norwich done something similar to help build their training facility for their academies which raised around 5 mill. I have no idea how much our new training ground facility will cost but maybe this is a good sensible idea by the club to again be self sufficient whilst also giving the fans a chance to eventually make some money out of their investment.

Similar methods have been used at Burnley (his former club), Norwich, Portsmouth, Wimbledon and Stevenage. More here: www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-bond-scheme-training-ground

What’s the next step to get this new training ground built and ready for use.
Does anyone live local to it and seen if any works are being carried out ?
