Amit said in an interview with Sky it’s the first time QPR have owned a training ground in the history of the club.
Didn’t Chris Wright sell the training facility in Acton to Wasps?

I would have drawn goalposts on the front to remind the players what to look for on the pitch.

I personally think the shell of the training ground building looks aesthetically ugly and cheap looking, it reminds me of an old Anderson bomb shelter that were erected in gardens during world war 2.
From a design perspective why are wooden timbers obscuring sight lines across practically every window I’ve seen in pictures and videos.

Don’t mind the vertical wooden timbers, stops it from looking like an industrial warehouse unit. Frankly given our fiancés, well done to the board, done SOMETHING right!

A metal construction is also not strictly classed as a permanent structure and are generally known as portable.

I would suggest the vertical timbers and mounting brackets wrapped around the outer shell ensure its not blown away in bad weather. I would have some reservations on getting out through a partially obstructed window in event of a fire.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the windows, I’m sure the club had the foresight to tell the architect to include a few doors here and there😁
