We were after Gregory when Ollie was manager. Might have better chance of enticing him here now with decent manager
Would defo bring something to the team

Wouldn't mind him here at all, certainly more mobile than Big Smith, but thought he was going Stoke ?

Eddie Nketiah on London from Arsenal. Decent prospect and gets few games at Arsenal

Good to see us being linked with a few strikers, particularly if Smith is on his way to Millwall!

Supposedly a midfield terrier like Scowen on a free, building from the back is great and if wages low enough then why not - can't be worse than Cousins ?

A Glasgow Rangers pal of mine who has seen a lot of Holt is suprised of this link and reckons he will not cut it in the championship.

This rumour is about a week old now so unlikely to happen As we are quite tight for money we will use what we have to obtain only what we need. DM and 2 strikers.

We'll have to change Pigbag for Oh Flower of Scotland.

Didn't Gordon Strachan sign a load of Scottish players a few years back for Boro and get sacked soon after? It's not a great league to be picking up unwanted players from.

Cousins gone to Stoke. Don't think we will regret letting Ingram go and not extending Cousins contract. Two bad signings for Stoke and Hull.

As Warburton said that there were two coming in early this week should I take a guess at two signings tomorrow and pretend to be ITK. Oh sorry, wrong messageboard.

If Jason Holt wasn't rated in a bang average Gers side it doesn't sound great.

God help us. Smith's goal rate (mpg): 192 Gregory: 303
Gregory is 30, not much pace. Poor business if we do this.

Have we got a sell on clause on Josh Bowler? pretty certain that we do along with other fees like appearences etc. i saw it reported recently that we actually sold him for 4.75m initially!

Good news if we have got a sell on clause. We might actually do a very good job of balancing the books this window at this rate. Who knows, Warburton may actually be given some proper money to spend. From what I've heard, Bowler has been doing pretty well for Everton youth/reserve squad. Tough ask breaking into the first team there though!
