Just reading up more in this Bowler story. It's a loan to the Championship that's being proposed, not a permanent move?
Surely we should be trying to get in on this? I appreciate Bowler is being linked with bigger clubs. But given the history, and the fact Bowler is from down our way, surely we'd be in with a shout of securing his services on loan?

Not sure out wide is an area which needs attention we only have shodipo, bright and smyth as wingers. i really do think we need another. manning is no winger and freeman will most likely be off.

As for Wheeler, can you really see him making an impact? Struggled to get regular games in League 1 last season, didn't he?

Chair played a lot at LM/RM on loan but can see him being a direct replacement for Freeman and ending up anywhere across the midfield. Wheeler got games last season and was more involved towards the end of the loan but it's more a question of whether he can impress Warbs not what he did or didn't do in League 2. Got a lot of potential IMO.

Without meaning to be cynical, I reckon he's found his level!

Isn`t this loan deal a bit risky? He`s been out for a long period with an ACL injury.

Pochettino said this after Spurs pre season 2017-18 "He's not so young - 21 - but maybe he doesn't have Premier League experience but his performances in the three games showed it's not a problem to put him to play. "Maybe he's going to play ahead of some senior players. "I'm more than brave and if I believe in some players I go with all the consequences." On loan then at Stevenage , their manager said "I think he has been terrific since he has joined, he plays out of position to what he does at Tottenham and it kind of suits him," he told the club's official website. "The best loan players embrace their loan club and Luke has just epitomised everything that we want to be here. "Lots of energy, very tenacious and his ability to receive and roll away from where the ball comes from is magnificent. It is a very difficult skill and he is terrific at it." His words.. "I base my game on running, passing and my technical ability as well and to be able to show that and for people to say I’m doing well is good. "I’ve always seen myself as a runner, passer and tackler but here I’ve been presented with the opportunities to take the men on and I back myself to beat them. "At first I was a bit tentative but once I beat the first man, I feel like I can beat the next man and it comes down to confidence and self belief and I’ve been given the opportunity to do that at Stevenage." How he’s described is everything we have lacked in middle of the park for seasons. Energy, tenacious, technical ability

There is also Deshane Dalling waiting in the wings if needed. it may even be that Warburton can get a tune out of David Wheeler too.

Pleasantly surprised with the way our transfer window is building. Good to see us getting business done early. Also nice to see a good mix of experience and exciting young talent being linked!

Judge signed a 2 year deal with Ipswich in April. Can't see us paying a fee for him with his injury record.

Must have been a bad injury? Strangely enough he suffered multiple breaks to his left leg whilst playing against Ipswich. Ouch. But I can't help thinking a ligament would be worse.
