Why have we got an ambassador in Sinton but no scouts for players to make us a better team. Nothing against Sinton but surely a chief scout is priority? All that handshaking is very important 73. add to that, if we did not have AmbassadorAndy, (from the north of england) we would have no one to commentate on the matches or to offer up a few tweets every day. Would love to know how much he is paid per year though.ย #losing1milpermonth #goldenhandshakes #criticalrole #nicetomeetyouandwelcometoqpr #payasyoushake #willshakeforawage To be fair to Sinton, he always comes into the boxes before games for a chat and to have photos with the kids and stuff. He's a nice chap and he's passionate about the club. Not everyone's cup of tea, but you need people like that around when you're charging 10's of thousands of quid a season for a box.

No issue with Sinton as such or what he does, My point was surely a scout should be a high priority in the grand scheme of things. You could use the D.O.F instead of Sinton if that suits better. How are we ever going to unearth gems to develop and sell with a 2 bob scouting set up.

We were interested in Ben Watson a while ago, I wonder whether he could do a job for us.. he didn`t impress that much when he was here a few years back, but was not used in his favoured position, they said. Bottomline; we need routine in our team/squad. Any opinions/updates on this this player?

Probably not in our wage structure but Woods on loan at Millwall is a player that MW would know a lot about...gets about the pitch and can tackle.

Woods would be great signing always ran rings round us for Brentford. Another player who would interest me, but would not be others cup of tea, is Pearson at Preston

Just pointing out that Sinton does do a lot of stuff that benefits the club. Albeit probably more in selling corporate hospitality than anything to do with whats happening on the pitch.

I think we lack characters in the mould of Hill and Derry he would bring that

But that would be putting the horse before the cart, 73 ๐ we have only had an ambassador for the past 3 years. surely we had no problem selling corperate boxes before this position was created. i remember back in the 90s, the players would visit local schools and kids hospitals in the area. why in the hell are we wasting a wage on a position like this when we have not got a bloody striker at the club?

It is a total shambles that we have not sourced a striker of our own since Charlie went. Get Kevin Gallen back as a scout as he has been in europe for Palace so will have watched a lot of games.

You honestly thinking Sinton is pulling 5 or 6 grand a week? Come on mate. Use your loaf. He's probably earning buttons for that job! Dunno why you are getting so hung up on all this. If you want to whinge about someone that genuinely doesn't justify the salary they are being paid, look no further than our esteemed DoF.

Why can't I see that about Les Ferdinand Bill? I've seen you say worse things on here! ๐
I honestly do think he's horrendously overpaid though. 600 large a year to shake a few hands on a weekend, representing the club at the occasional golf event, chatting some woke bollocks to the newspapers and calling in a few favours from his mates at Spurs.
I'd actually say he's about the most overpaid bloke in Championship football.
