Smith so far looks like a speed merchant to me if he never scored on debut I’m not sure there would have been as much hype as there is Could be a good player in him If he’s coached but from what I’ve seen there both level pegging, raw talents who could go either way. Might be wrong but think both have scored two for us. Time will tell |

No brainer. Let's hope he can reproduce form of a couple of seasons back at higher level. Big chance, needs to take it.... if he gets that chance. Needs to be given a run of games, though the chances of fans not jumping on his back after the first bad performance are pretty slim. That will be unacceptable of course, but it will be the fault of the club. I don't care how skint we are it is ridiculous that for the past two seasons we have relied on loan strikers without having a least one of our own being given a bit of game time and schooled in the way the first team are being told to play. How has being loaned out to Walsall and Bradford helped that? If Oteh gets a chance its a bit much expecting him to play the MW way immediately when the rest of the squad have been trying to for months. |

in all seriousness bringing back oteh COULD turn out ok, still not happy that he's our only cover though.
loads of strikers have gone out on loan, done shite and then still turned out to be good players. he got some game time down there but its a different style of football in league 2. he scored bags of goals at youth level in a team with eze, chair and bos and is also pretty fast and strong. might work out well but only time will tell, we don't have any other options though.
i get what the club is doing in regards to FFP and fully support how they're going about building a team but in the same breath it feels like we're throwing in the towel (not relegation) for this season. we're very short in midfield and especially defence and if we get a string of injuries then what?

cannot help thinking that this league is beyond him and maybe he can create a career for himself knoking around league 1 and 2.
