The case for. Clint take no prisoners and sort the defence out. Joey a cunt. But he knows the game. He even git players subbed when he playing. So that shows a ruthless side. No doubt a leader. He would not take shit of team and they would know it. He not be a yes man to board and tell them exactly as it is. No more fucking about

That’s the problem with this club we lack ambition. Why go for best available if we did make change, why not go for person who is best for job long term

For those unable to watch MW comments after the defeat at Huddersfield.
MW saying he could have subbed 8 players at half time...then why only One ?
Plenty of excuses about hectic game schedule..the same for all teams and we even had One more day rest than Huddersfield ?

I bet the interviewer didn't ask why only one and point out we had an extra day off😁 Not exactly Piers Morgan or Paxman is he?

Nigel Pearson. No nonsense and proven track record. Meant to be a nice fella too despite the arrogant exterior. Pearson or Bowyer for me. Realistic and get a vibe either would be good for us.

He's going nowhere though, is he? We'd only end up paying him for doing nothing if we kick him out. What I don't get is with people like Les and Ramsey at the top why don't they have a word - they must see what we see? If you aren't doing your job right in the real world your boss takes an interest. Les brings in the players doesn't he? So he must have expectations to be realised.

I would take a very calculated punt they have de briefs after every match and go through things.

I get the impression that MW would be the more assertive force in a meeting with Les Ferdinand. IMO MW would make a better fist of DOF than his current position. My choice for a new Manager would be Angel Rangel...a little risky I suppose but looks to have similar qualities to Martinez the Belgium Manager.

Hughes, Redknapp, Ramsey, JFH, Holloway, McClaren, Warburton - list of our latest managers. I don't think we would be in any worse position if we had kept Hughes or Redknapp. In fact only Steve was in a situation where there were no way back. All others were sacked because of unrealistic expectitions. We have had too much turbulence without any real cause and that's why I'm against changing managers at this phase.

I guess sacking yet another one heaps more spotlight on our DOF so plenty of chats to resolve the problems. Doesn't appear to be working!

History has shown that Warburton is not a very good manager so why let him continue?? He is a one trick pony and we are going down with him in charge. Probably/most likely.

Quite an odd opinion as his winning percentage has been very high everywhere except with us. Good win percentage with Brentford, good win percentage with Rangers but aside from the odd cup game, he was playing against significantly inferior opponents as Rangers worked their way back up the leagues. Pretty bang average for Forest and for us.

Need a re gig top to bottom. Current set up not born any fruit. All this talk of a project is just a pipe dream. Need to decide what we actually want to do as a club. Tread water, push for promotion,or just become a talent selling conveyor belt.

Tread water, push for promotion,or just become a talent selling conveyor belt. Being realistic there’s lots of clubs that have tried the “conveyor belt of talent” setup, Ajax are about the only club I can think of that are really successful at it. Lots of teams have spent a fortune on their youth setups, academy systems etc, but you’re lucky if there are any in their 1st team.

Unrealistic expectations? Hughes never won a league before being sacked at the end of November. Not sure hoping to win a game before then is unrealistic.
