people say Eddie Howe is out of our reach. Why? Him or Pearson. I reckon two more defeats by Saturday and the breadman should be a goner because he did an incredible job at bournemouth despite getting relegated. all while playing good football and remaining competitive, they weren't in a relegation battle every season and more or less always finished comfortably. his polar opposite would be sean dyche but dyche plays boring football and grinds out results, i know who big teams would rather go for! howe was being touted for the everton, spurs and arsenal jobs in recent years and his stock is still high. what exactly could we as a club offer to entice him here? we haven't got a starstudded squad, no money to spend, no fancy new stadium or training ground, unambitious owners and a team that is mid table at best. why exactly would he come here when he could land a job at any team outside the top 4? the only club in the championship that realistically ticks all the boxes i stated above for him are watford but even then i highly doubt he'd go there. i imagine he's had his pick of jobs over the summer but didn't go to any. he's completely out of our league and unless he suddenly wakes up as a QPR fan tomorrow he won't be coming here.

what about john eustace as warbs replacement? very highly rated and thinks outside the box, he converted manning to LB and whilst manning was pretty woeful last season i can still see the logic behind it.
already cut his teeth at kidderminster, knows how the club wants to play but i reckon he'll be more tactically sound than warbs.
been assistant under mcclaren and then warbs which i reckon was the clubs decision. must have learned the good parts of their philosophies and knows the players too. already has an experienced coach alongside him in banfield so it could work out. has leadership qualities after captaining derby and watford too. i'd prefer him over warbs thats for sure

I don't believe Howe is an unrealistic shout for QPR. London club with some of the wealthiest owners in the business. I find it interesting how some people talk us down as a club, our potential, our draw and our history. Once again, it all comes back to the ambition and the vision of the current custodians.

Howe would come if the P was right . Probably want to stay close to boscombe . May like a challenge , may be bored at home . No one knows til when and if he is approached . Lose the next 2 and I'd think it would be curtains for the loaf

We can’t spend Stan, FFP, so wealth of owners is irrelevant unless their going to rip up the current plan
It’s not talking club down it’s having realistic expectations. Guy was tipped for England and arsenal job can you hand on heart see him coming QPR

Mick McCarty made Ipswich a hard team to beat. Wonder what he is doing now? He could have helped Warburton with the defensive side of things a few months ago..

I’ve always wondered why you need a Director of Football at a football club. What other directors are there? As for an ambassador??? Absolutely laughable.

Chair's second half performance was probably his best for us. Why? Because he opted to shoot earlier and more actively. Credit to half time talk, who is Warburton. I don't think you can draw that conclusion TimmyD,Chair should have been doing that long before now and there have been plenty of second halves where we've looked a shadow of the first half team.

I really hope that MW contract is not renewed as he has not got the basic tactical nous to take the club forwards.

Neither manager or squad are fit for purpose at championship level.

Damned if he does and damned if he doesn't eh Al? I saw plenty of comments (not necessarily on here) that Rowett would change it at half time and we would get out-manouvered but the opposite happened. Once we were in front we were controlling the game and creating good chances. However, yet again we failed to take them and put the game to bed. We defended well and were a bit unlucky with a deflected goal and after that we dropped and could well have lost it. I still look at the team and think there are more new faces than old and am prepared to give him longer with them. Finances have dictated we have lost our loan players and our best player so the goals have dried up as a result.
