Except for “I said to the players we must not lose “ i cant help but admire MW for his work ethic and his honesty and frown at his inability to change.

Norwich result tells me this group are capable with more grit, determination, application and pride.
Yes at times rode our luck but came away with a point.
MW post match players gave there all, hello is that not why they are on the pitch wearing the shirt.
I dont think MW knows about motivation and needs to be more vocal on the sideline.

Tim Sherwood mentioned in the Sun. Thanks for depressing us all with that tit-bit of info, Shania. That's brought the New Year feel-good back down with a bang. 😬

I’m not worried about being linked with Sherwood as it’s lazy journalism just linking him because of Les they do it everytime
Think this will be the third or fourth time Sherwood has got the job in recent years 😀😁

That isn't what I meant, I know they are. His remarks were taken to be racist I thought. It was his son and some players on tour allegedly racially abusing Thai women in a sex romp. No allegedly about it. I've seen the video, it was pretty shocking. I think Pearson ended up leaving the club cos he kicked up a stink that his son was (rightfully) sacked over it. Also worth noting that Lee Hoos and Pearson have worked together in the past and apparently don't have a great relationship.

Because of Brexit it now seems like players and managers from abroad will be very difficult to come by for clubs of our size..

Mick McCarty made Ipswich a hard team to beat. Wonder what he is doing now? He could have helped Warburton with the defensive side of things a few months ago.. In Cyprus or Turkey or Afghanistan, somewhere anyway. Got a job recently. Mick McCarthy available now according to bbc sport im being serious here I would have more confidence in him keeping us up than MW. Short term contract to end of season then a clean break with a new Manager and DOF removed.

Certainly would not be a popular or long term appointment Tarbie but would be within our limited budget and experienced enough to know what it takes to stay in this division.
We are not going to stay up playing sideways passing under MW.
Realistically we won’t be bringing in any players in on transfer fees.
First and foremost we need to stop conceding stupid goals and he would not be asking what the players are not capable of.
I’m sure he would have us set up solid and scrapping for every point..that would be everything that MW won’t have us doing.

I can’t think of many that would ensure safety..what kind of chance would you consider acceptable Tarbie ?
I would honestly say we have less than 20% chance under MW right now.
I would also add we would still have only 60% chance under McCarthy
Some fans on here said Warnock was past it last year when he went Boro.
What are the realistic alternatives ?

But I say our chances are over 80 % under Warburton. We have been competitive in almost every game and players are definitely playing for him. Need just one good win to start going.

I've been saying it for a long time. There is a manager out there that has been punching above his weight for a few seasons now, he is accustomed to working on a very limited budget, he is proven at building morale and getting more out of a squad of players than the sum of their parts, and he would join us at the drop of a hat for a significantly smaller wage than any of our recent managers. That man is Gareth Ainsworth.

Id rather keep Warbs and go down, than bring in Mick who Ipswich fans hated due to anti football. Won't go down, won't go up and won't be pretty to watch.
