That’s a very good shout.
But would it be realistic for him to leave WW in the mire and join us right now ?
If he did and we survived this season do you honestly think his style of play would suit most fans next season ?

Would like to see him as our manager, albeit at the risk of destroying his reputation. But then again anyone who joins us risks that these days.

I’m of the opinion we need a quick fix this season and we need it to be someone experienced.

If he did and we survived this season do you honestly think his style of play would suit most fans next season ? His "style of play" is an interesting discussion which I've had with a few other fans in recent seasons (I've been calling for Ainsworth for a good while). In my opinion, the style of play that Ainsworth has adopted at Wycombe has been driven by the players he's had at his disposal. Not much point trying to play champagne football when you've got Ade Akinfenwa playing up top! I also think this is a huge part of the problem with Warburton. He has a very rigid idea of the style of football he want's to play and he's totally oblivious to the fact he hasn't got the players at his disposal (particularly this season) to pull it off. I think a manager like Ainsworth would do a better job of playing to the strengths of the squad. I also think he'll get the players a bit better drilled and working harder for each other. Ideal for the job in hand in my opinion. As for whether he'd join us. I know someone who asked him that question off the record when McClaren was sacked. At that time the answer was, yes he would. Of course Wycombe have been promoted since then but let's face it, he's taken that club about as far as can be realistically expected. He's also the longest serving manager in the Football League. I'm sure he's ready for a new challenge and would be allowed to leave with Wycombe's blessings.

Were Ipswich always boring to watch under McCarthy? Would you like to be bored but ensure Champ survival Shania? Tarbie answered my question i guess. But Championship survival is of paramount importance whether people have realised it or not.

You make some valid points that I would certainly share about his style of play.
Imo he would not leave WW at this stage of the season as I’m certain it would cast a huge cloud over his honesty and integrity in football management.
Then again it hasn’t stopped others doing similar in the past

I’m beginning to think that our owners have thrown in the towel already with the deafening silence from LF and the board.

The truth be known is all our best players have now been allowed to leave
All the replacements for those players are shit
Very black and white

Fernandes is trying his best to keep an airline (which employees 20,000 people) afloat. Even our parent company Tune Group makes virtually all it's money from Leisure & Tourism. In the grand scheme of things I'd imagine QPR are quite a way down the to-do list. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Ferdinand is speaking to the owners though. He should be raising the alarm bells loud and clear right now!

I find the lack of social media talking funny. When Tony was tweeting, he gets slated as he isn't professional and he is undermining the manager etc. And now they appear to have learnt from this, they are getting slated for not saying anything.
Only QPR fans.
Reminds me of Eminem - Demons
I want you to change, but don't change I want you to grow up, but don't age I want the rage, but don't get too angry I want the new, but old Shady I want you to say what they won't say Just don't go too far, but go cray

Disappointing that MW identified that our crossing from wide areas was poor today ,then shortly afterwards say the players would need a couple of days rest.😬
Halthou has mentioned on numerous occasions that our F/B and M/F players should be taken to one side and drilled continuously until it became second nature to produce good crosses and dangerous set pieces consistently.
I would also like to see an end to the 352 formation which to me has been introduced as an admittance that our F/B are unable to defend properly..
If this is indeed the case that they cannot defend then perhaps we need to purchase two that can.
There are far too many places in this current team wasted on players that seem unable to do the basics.consistantlyi.e Kane ,Nico ,Cameron and Ball.
Is it any wonder our M/F and Strikers look so poor when we are carrying Four players.

The team have conceded 2 goals in 4 the last 4 league games and scored 4 goals playing 3-5-2. Of course there are players who need replacing in the summer etc, I feel the formation gets the best out of the present squad, but they really missed Carroll today. If the management get in a decent replacement this window, I’d stick with the formation until the summer when a bigger reconfiguration can take place

The Vice man may prove a suitable partner allowing another player into our weak area of M/F

At this moment in time I don’t think it matters what formation you play, the squad doesn’t have enough central midfielders of a certain type and quality fit and able to play

so whats the jury now? i still don't think warbs is good enough to take us forward, obviously the 2 back to back wins eased the pressure on him.
his contract is up in the summer but i have a feeling we're gunna give the job to eustace which i'm ok with. highly rated from kidderminster and did decently well as caretaker. knows the club inside out now after 3 and a half seasons(?) as assistant under mcclaren and then warbs.

Warbs has done everything that is asked. Play better football, play youth, sort the defence out etc. Not 100% sure what else people want? He has changed formation, we go more direct. With the chances we have had this season, if we had Austin from the get go, I think we would be top half easily.

He isn't going anywhere.
2 wins and then defeat to Derby has not changed my opinion of him.
It would appear our board are prepared to gamble and take the risk that we will not get relegated.
I really hope they are right and we avoid the drop which would be catastrophic with very serious consequences for the club we love.
