Carroll is a good player for us and fits in nicely to MW’s style and glad he is in the team as he can pick out decent forward balls
Amos is not a cam/winger but good start so far by us.

He looks a much more complete midfielder than the lad we had here 7 or 8 years ago. Different sort of player, but he does to some extent replace Eze. We look a lot better for having someone in the midfield that can see a pass like Carroll does. |

The worry is strength in depth. But as Westy pointed out on another thread today, loads of teams in the same boat on that one. Hopefully a couple will be coming in this coming week. Interesting that Ben Watson isn't in the Forest squad today. Maybe that one is done and part of the agreement was it would only be rubber stamped after today? |

Solid and well organised. Kept Forest quiet. Amos not offering much attacking wise. Very impressed with Carroll. Defence looks very solid.

First half thoughts are that was decent effort fairly even, draw prob about right. Need get some balls in the box for Dykes to attack

Cameron giving ball away loads so far This was my concern about making him club captain. The manager will feel obliged to play him when he's fit. In reality he probably isn't a player that should be starting. I'd sooner have Ball (or Watson?) in that position. |
