Friday - what’s everyone’s expectations?
They are not a bad outfit and gave a good account of themselves against Bristol this weekend just gone.
Matt Godden up top is a really handful and they apparently have two very fast and tricky wingers.
I am hoping we can build on yesterday’s performance and go there for the win but definitely look to be picking up a point away from home against a team we could be possibly going up against in terms to stay up.
They are a decent outfit and it will be a tough game, but one we have to aim to not lose and potentially pick up the three points.
Would anyone make any changes he’s to the first 11?

We were pretty decent away from home last year and we have good recent record at St Andrews so I would expect at least a point but I would say away win

I would expect at least a pint or 3, if we win 🍺

Tough away game this. Three pre-match pints is a minimum.

All depend on the defence and goalkeeper this
If they play well we will win if they fold up we won't win
So important to be defensively very hard to beat

Tough game, always is when away to a side just promoted, especially when it's their first home game. I'd be alright with a draw.

Think they were half decent yesterday. We’re noones mugs though but I’d be happy with a point away from home

All depend on the defence and goalkeeper this If they play well we will win if they fold up we won't win So important to be defensively very hard to beat If we defend properly then we can win more games than we lose as we have very good forward players who play in different ways. Clean sheet and a point would show progress.

I've got a few Cov supporting mates. Been chatting with one of them this morning.
He said they are solid at the back but don't score many goals. Also said that George Thomas is a good League 1 player but he's not sure he'll cut it as a 1st 11 Championship player. Said he was never good enough for the move he got to Leicester. Also said he rates him more as a winger than a creative midfielder.

Very important game, this one, along with the next. Eminently possible to start the season with 3 wins, which will have an enormously positive effect on how we can progress.
Lose this and confidence would be rock bottom, surely?

I hope for a win, but a draw would be OK.

Mind hasn't changed, I'd still be good with a draw. Tough game imo.

Lose this and confidence would be rock bottom, surely? At least amongst the fans. There will be cries for Warbs out immediately.

I predict we'll lose if Ryan Manning is picked at LB.
I predict a draw or win if he's not.

Back the draw then, law of averages and all.

Lose this and confidence would be rock bottom, surely? Brights I like to think that two games into the season that if we lose the players will be little bit more resilient then to let their confidence drop to rock bottom 😁 maybe after an ollie bounce of defeats

Very interested in seeing how Carroll and Dickie do in particular. Shout out as well to Kakay who looks like he is settling in nicely and is a improvement on Kane.

Happy with a point here before the game. They'll be confident after last season.

Their captain is out with an injury. I think his surname is Kelly.
