Dykes badly needs another striker to run off him. His hold up play is fantastic.
Decent half though, apart from that fucking corner.

Reasonable effort first half fairly even. Level probably fair result this far
Thomas not done an awful lot, Cameron less and chair frustrates me a bit. Need shake the midfield up

Half Time summary
Lumley dropped due to contract dispute
Chair back in his favoured No 10 role.
BOS playing superb. Two excellent runs and some great touches.
Thomas playing well, making some good passes.
QPR dominating play overall. Boro goal against run of play.
Kakay having another excellent game.
Defending corners we still look fragile.
Dieng looking very comfortable. Pulled off one good save when called upon.

Good passing as well. a sort of ferdinand, penrice partnership from the 90s. could do with a nippy striker to play alongside dykes. 442 would be good. dykes looks like a quality signing to be fair but he needs someone nippy to play off him to really play off his strengths like you said. if he had someone like wells for example it'd be a dream partnership. other than that i think we've been pretty decent in the first half, bit unsteady at the back but chair, bos, dykes and kakay all looking good. wallace looking a bit suspect though |

Chair and Thomas might very well been affected by having taken quite heave knocks. 1-1 would be a great result in my opinion.
