Kieran McGuire reporting that..
"Liverpool and Arsenal are 2000/1 to be relegated next season and Manchester City are 25/1.
Looks as if the bookies are covering their backsides a bit in relation to a negative commission verdict for City."

When Big Ears interviewed Pep after game Saturday Pep said he would be there next year in a way that suggested he wants five in a row then may go. Presumably they must talk inside the club about the charges so perhaps they are confident they can beat them? Then again, he is quite astute so he may think he has one more season before the shit hits the fan.

So Burnley have a dreadful season back in the Prem. Kompany way out of his depth. Relegated, and it seems Bayern want to appoint him as their next manager. I am not sure I understand the attraction. But another big Championship club looking to poach a new manager if so. Stay away from Marti!

I’d like to say the guy would probably realise it’s too soon and another season with us would be advantageous all round but the pay-offs they get for failure mean you may as well go for it.

Always liked Arsenal as a football club but, I must admit since this AFTV shit and seeing how some of their fans are so entitled, I was laughing my bollox off at them yesterday looking like they'd been relegated. Looking forward to seeing young Arsenal fan at work this morning who confidently stated when they got Arteta, watch how Man City crumble now as you'll see he was the brains behind it all not Pep.... 4 titles in a row later Silly sausage. Boring Arsenal back when george graham was gaffer, which makes Shania one of our more senior commentators. Surely not....

Erik Ten Hag - So what do you all think - sack or retain?
He has had two years, the gap between United and the top teams is huge now.
He has had terrible injuries this season - and yet he won the FA Cup.
The players seemed to be behind him after Saturday's game.
Major talent is not performing for him - what has happened to Rashford?
30 players were either sold or loaned out this season.
Eight expensive first team squad players were loaned out (Sancho, Van De Beek, Hannibal, Pellistri, Gore, Williams, Fernandez & Greenwood).
Sancho was purchased for £85m, loaned back from whence he came, and is now said to be worth £25m.
Hard to say how much the recruitment is down to the manager, but there are some pretty huge financial losses going on at United through underperforming players - is that the fault of the manager and coaches?
Stick or twist, what do people think? On balance, I think twist...

Chelsea appoint Leicester manager Maresca on a FIVE year contract FFS (lovely pay-off when they sack him...).
Carlos Corberan bookies' favourite, Steve Cooper second favourite.
Third is an odd one - Ruud van Nistelrooy!
Then Graham Potter, Oscar Garcia and Divid Moyes.
Marti is 8th favourite at 16-1.

Man City absolutely taking the piss now, suing the prem league now, also saying the league is anti Arabic owned teams. Just fuck them off out the whole league. We know they cheated and bent rules otherwise they still be shit.

So this and the 100+ charges are separate cases. However if city win this one (which starts Monday) they would massively undermine the whole concept of PSR as conflicting with UK competition law.
I have always felt that sooner or later FFP / PSR would be vulnerable to precisely this kind of attack.
Entirely legitimate to hate both City and FFP / PSR.......

City's owners can throw millions at the legal case from spare change found down the back of their sofa.
Will be very surprised if their case against the Prem will be finalised after the two week hearing.

Must be the most hated club now. So their owners bought the club knowing the rules and restrictions of the league they play in. So from day 1 they definitely cheated and bent the rules in every way they can to buy the successful team they are now. If they had followed the rules there’s no way they be so dominant. So now they finally being called out they sue and claim discrimination and are trying to change the rules. Well fuck off. If and I bet they do win on these issues football is done. More I look back think the big boys should of been allowed to go and play in their super monopoly league.

Isn't what they are complaining about from 2021? So doesn't impact the 2013 or whenever it is that is being investigated.
And regardless of what they say, the rules were the rules at the time and that's what all teams go by.
Saw a funny meme where Lance Armstrong is suing for not allowing performance enhancing drugs.
