It's trying to turn football into an exact science, which it isn't. At it is at the cost of what makes the game great. That Coventry winner in the last minute of ET vs Man Utd summed it up perfectly. You get the right squares who say "well offside is offside" - which, IMHO, is bollox.
The game is about them moments. To have that then snatched away after 2 minutes of some plum at Stockley Park pausing it and zooming in to find half a toenail 'offside' takes away so much from the game. Again, IMHO.

I’m not sure VAR is the problem it’s getting the laws to fit. For example VAR gives offside if big toe is offside but that’s it doing its job as laws say any part of body can score goal with. If we don’t like change the laws

Its wolves that have asked for vote I know it’s Wolves, I was being sarcastic about Sky’s influence on the game.

City were a big team without the mad money once too, Corbs. Now it's just obscene.
I briefly watched the end of the first half. Flashing adverts in Chinese, online casinos. This is football without soul. Vulgar, classless and utterly contemptible.

Premier league is eating itself alive. It’s top 1 team follow-up prob another 5 then the rest of rabble. No joy in it. It’s as dull as a sesh out on the beer with me

Lots of joy. For example it's been joy to watch Crystal Palace lately. It’s not really joy is it, It’s basically pointless league unless your maybe 5 clubs. Ok some nice football at times but pointless. More chance of winning the big euro lottery whilst beating terminal cancer, then getting hit by lightning whilst being attacked by a shark

Always liked Arsenal as a football club but, I must admit since this AFTV shit and seeing how some of their fans are so entitled, I was laughing my bollox off at them yesterday looking like they'd been relegated. Looking forward to seeing young Arsenal fan at work this morning who confidently stated when they got Arteta, watch how Man City crumble now as you'll see he was the brains behind it all not Pep.... 4 titles in a row later Silly sausage.

I'll forgive you, because you are young, Corbs, but Manchester City are a genuinely 'big club' with a history to back it up. However, their slump started before you were born, so you can't be expected to know this. Have a read:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Manchester_City_F.C.

Arse should have kept their nerve and given Unai Emery time. Look what he’s done with Villa. Knows how to win, certainly knows how to stay in a European competition. Arteta has done a decent job but difference between winning and bottling it is losing at home to the likes of West Ham when you’re in a tight race.

Kieran McGuire reporting that..
"Liverpool and Arsenal are 2000/1 to be relegated next season and Manchester City are 25/1.
Looks as if the bookies are covering their backsides a bit in relation to a negative commission verdict for City."

When Big Ears interviewed Pep after game Saturday Pep said he would be there next year in a way that suggested he wants five in a row then may go. Presumably they must talk inside the club about the charges so perhaps they are confident they can beat them? Then again, he is quite astute so he may think he has one more season before the shit hits the fan.

So Burnley have a dreadful season back in the Prem. Kompany way out of his depth. Relegated, and it seems Bayern want to appoint him as their next manager. I am not sure I understand the attraction. But another big Championship club looking to poach a new manager if so. Stay away from Marti!
