Was there enough time for him to show something? Not really, but it was a very impressive cameo. Looks well schooled, naturally athletic and skillful. The full match should be up on the official tomorrow for you to check out. I'm looking forward to watching the first half again as I was hung over and nodded off. |

Looks like a lad who been schooled at Arsenal and played at Benifica.
Was a cameo but he looked to have a good touch, eye for a pass and fairly direct.
I’m excited by him and I personally think he will push chair out of the team!

That’s surely injury Willock was clearly being protected against and why he was on bench and only doing 45mins
They tried getting him out there I suppose, so fair enough it’s back fired but probably had no other option
One observation, assuming he had been carrying hammy injury, perhaps starting him on a rain drenched and heavy pitch not the smartest idea
It is what it is time for others to step up so we will now see if any of them have the character

Do we not have any young, pacey tricky players in the B/u23s that could step up? Derby, Forest and a few others have played players that no one had heard of and are reaping the rewards.

Don’t know if sports science dictate game time as rigidly with the youngsters but Brandon Aviero seems to either subbed off/on around 60min mark for U23s.
Haven’t seen Ody Alpha or Stanley Flaherty named in any U23 squads recently.
Maybe it opens up a path for 2 strikers up top with Sinclair Armstrong coming into the squad.

Exatly now is the time for changing the managment. With Willock now out for the season we`re out of it, and with six weeks left of the season, it`s the perfect opportunity for a new manager to assess the squad ahead of next season`s campaign.

If Willock has been carrying an injury then playing him alone up top and playing WB in another game did him or the team no favours.
