Love Willock 73 when he plays I genuinely think think we have a chance in most games
As an aside I think his goal away Birmingham last season was better then Saturdays

TV may not have done it justice. Agree he does not go missing or goes into a shell when the going gets tough.

Not all great goals need to be 'extravagant'. he beat two men who put in two weak challenges They weren't weak, more that he showed great strength to hold them off.

Last season with us. Enjoy him. Maybe last week? I’d say 99% it’s not but this is QPR mate and if someone comes in with £15m+ who knows!

I don't think we'd be in a position to reject good money for Willock given his contract is getting to quite a precarious position and he's not making many reassuring noises about extending it.

willock is hands down one of the worst players we've ever had, i don't think its up for any debate that he's certainly the worst englishman we've ever signed from benfica.

Bang average player isn't he Corbs. Permanently on the treatment table too. Quite inconsistent also, often goes anonymous in games.
That tweet must be a wind up.

He’s an awful player. If any Prem outfit had any sense they’d be bidding for Dykes - a genuine 20 goals a career striker. We’d be lost without him. There would only be two other relegation places available if we sell him.

he effectively has 2 years left on his deal (i think) but we should be looking to tie him down to a longer contract. i'm under no illusions that we can keep him here as he's far too good for us and this league but even so we need to make sure we can get as much money as possible for him when we inevitably do sell him.

Issue is, why would he sign a new deal? He isn't a QPR fan. Say he is on 10k a week. He knows his brother is on (what?) 50k a week. If we sell in a year's time we will have to sell on the cheap and he gets an even bigger wage. But what's the most we can offer without busting our wage structure? 20k absolute max say (and prob less given our FFP concerns)? All the numbers above complete guesswork. Suspect the only thing holding back clubs from offering for him has been fitness. We aren't going to go up this season so I would actually like him to be sold in some ways - providing of course this frees up some dosh to identify and buy the next Chris Willock and a striker.

Look at our results with and with Willock and that alone tells you he needs to be kept as no one delivers like him game in game out for us. As for getting money for him look at the following 3 transfers in the past 5 years where spent money. Conor Washington 2.7 million, Bonne 2 million and Dykes 2 million. Not sure I would trust this board with any money to spend.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s on the bench Tuesday. That was proper shift Saturday and might not be able to do it twice in a few days yet. Comes on if we need him.

Unless it's stupid money don't see the point in selling with 48hrs left, if we don't have a replacement lined up.

Bit of a flurry of activity on social media linking Willock with Palace... Remember the days when we would steal Palace managers, Terry and Warnock, and players like Rogers, Fenwick, Burridge, Flanagan, Allen, Wicks, Barron, Derry and Clint..... Boot firmly on the other foot now.
