What was on the breakfast mate? A Full Scottish should really include, haggis, lorne sausage and potato scones. They left off the haggis as that would invalidate any add ons we are due to pay for him not going overweight How many more posts before the 100 pages? |

Don’t be so precious Robin, hardly a wrap on knuckles just alternative position on people wanting to still debate a former player. GT will have seen what I posted and still shared his view which is his/your right and how forums work. I’ve never seen Stan Bowles play I found lots of the debate about memorials for him bit boring as personally there is no attachment personally aside from him being club legend as it was not my era. Would however not dream of telling fans to stop discussing him as he bailed out from club 30+ years ago as to many he remains relevant and a subject of conversation which is fine. I just avoid the threads of no interest and let others crack on in them. Sorry you missed Stan and Rodney and countless others. I saw them but still do not post about them as life moves on but I understand that people of a later era still want to talk about Stan both as a character and player. My only point is that while Stan was a legend to most people Dykes was not and we have 100 pages of discussion on "Donkey" much of which o would not agree with as I think he had some worth to the club. think it's because stan's career and life is sadly all done so that's it. lyndon was and is such a polarising figure who frustrated many a fan and played largely due to us having no other options up top. he's certainly not a legend but i would argue that he's an anti-legend of the club lol. |

Then the post above goes totally unchallenged. Inconsistent ? Yes imo Double Standards? Yes imo That's life - only posting this to help get to 100 pages and see what happens. Re Dykes he gave a nice interview to BBC after Scotland losing to Poland , during which as a sub he missed the easiest chance to put Scotland ahead. Reads like a copy of a Marti post loss interview so maybe he did learn something while he was here. that’s because your not me 😀 |

If you can't beat them...... Some ITK from the well known Brum Bum Evening Press reported that Dykes went to the toilet in a Scottish hotel after breakfast, before going training last Tuesday. QPR are demanding a sell on fee. He probably missed the pissoir😁 |

Harry Kane has scored 68 goals for England in 100 appearances.
If Lyndon Dykes scored at the same rate for us in all competitions, he would have scored 112 goals.
