All very relative. not really. Both top Scorers both very poor players. I’m sure most on Here will agree (not all I accept) 7 goals after more then half the season given some of the opportunities he’s missed or not got on the end of (including last nights) puts him in the shit category If your suggestion is that as he’s top of the scoring list he’s a good player or performing at a high level then I think we are going to disagree as we’re moving into the Nasser territory of stats being more important than what we’re all witnessing with our eyes |

But my main point is a very simple one - to bandy around terms like "shit category" and "very poor" is all highly relative. |

couldn't dykes' goalscoring record be attributed to the amount of chances we create? we get a lot of crosses in the box, low and whipped etc.
a washed up past his best austin has also scored a fair few for us because he's got that goalscoring ability in him.

Good song though, it's better than the usual no imagination songs we have. Tbf, it's nice having a song about a player sung. We really don't do it enough. Miss the days of singing about Rowlands, Furlong, Bircham, Shittu, Gallen, Buzsaky, gigi dicanio, Spencer. Think they all had good songs (well, Rowlands/Furlong weren't a good song but we sung it loads). |
