Last night showed there's definitely a footballer in him. Just needs to be more consistent. Seems very much a confidence player.
His reverse pass to put Chair clean through was superb!
Plus some of his defending and heading was excellent; and kept his cool so well for the penalty. Took his first goal superbly. Heading is definitely his strength if we can get it into him

Stan, I've been saying exactly that about Dykes since we signed him. More often than not he impresses for Scotland. There is undoubtedly a player in there. Frustrating as fuck we only see it once every few months at QPR. He'd be formidable if he played like he did last night 8 games out of 10.

Apparently always scores on his birthday. Simple solution give him a birthday card/party/cake every time we play. Did well last night and that is the standard we need reguarly from him.

The reaction from his teammates says it all really. We’ve got to support Dykes and stick with him. No one can fault his commitment to the cause. And tonight he was outstanding. And against Luton he will probably be shit again - we’ve seen it all before James. He’s got a long way to go to win me, and I suspect many others, over. Well done tonight, now let’s see a bit of consistency. That’s key. Yes, we've seen it before, he get's on a scoring run and then fizzles out for months... BUT we haven't seen it before with this manager, MB has upped the games of several players. Look at the run Lyndon made to meet that cross, probably not one he'd have made even a few weeks ago. Caught the defender napping - and what a brilliantly executed header!

Wish somebody with come up with a new song for him though. That "Lyndon Dykes is the best of earth" song is fucking pathetic! Worst song in the world and couldn't be further from the truth. Funny thing is it's all noise. Nah nah nah nah best on earth. Nah nah

Thing is, however, I've never met anyone called Captain Jack. And certainly never at the railway track. Nor have I ever stuck a blue flag up anyone's arse. Or walked in any kind of wonderland. And I don't think West London is that wonderful.

NOT singling the guy out in any way for the all round disappointing performance today but one good hold up and run to the box, never won a header all day and one half chance where he gently guided the ball down for their keeper.

He grafted today but there was only one winner with the CB today and it was not Lyndon. Had two chances today one in each half so he did get right areas

Brilliant again tonight at home.
Work rate has definitely upped along with more intelligent runs.
Unlucky to not have a hat trick after thundering one off the bar but all in all a massive improvement.

Good movement for the goal and unlucky not get a third which hit the bar. Looks a different player right now.

Decent effort last night. Not the most robust defence he will face but he took advantage and capitalised. Maybe we’re starting see an element of consistency.
He as poor at Luton but made up for it last night

We all know he is very limited, and will have patches where he is garbage, but on the flip side he can he effective on his day & will grab you the odd brace. Just need to make the most of the latter spells lol
