Four touches in 45 minutes. Four. He is fucking rotten mate. Rotten. He is but where it is more worrying is we have no one to replace or come on for him.

Given Dykes is already on his way, I suppose we need two more strikers in during this window.

The ball doesn't stick to Dykes, his first touch is awful and he doesn't win much in the air. He looks lost most of the time and if you do believe he can be coached then it won't be by someone who has sat on his box watching Chair fuck up every dead ball for half a season. This from exactly two years ago - and we are still fucking up every dead ball.

Injuries and players out of form a big factor yesterday but Chair not being able to beat the first man from a corner, time after time, is truly shocking from a footballer at Sunday league level, let alone championship level.

Don't think we should hold our breathe for some game changing striker in Jan. The money isn't there. And even if there were a few bob, seems so difficult to find a regular goalscorer. Gayle looked a good signing but he hasn't scored for 20 games - way worse record than Dykes. Am well aware of Dykes' limitations but also I fear whoever we get will just disappoint and become the new boo boy.

As Hitman has said many times we are better off playing a corner flag up front and hope for a deflection towards goal every now and again.

It a bit funny, but how many time have I( for one) mentioned relatively mediocre strikers like Billy Sharp, Chris Wood etc, but QPR opted instead to buy players like Dykes and Bonne? Sorry, but you couldn`t really make it up, could you? Just imagine what Don Givens, Clive Allen and Paul Goddard are thinking now. The club famous for their great strkers. To me; It`s all a farce now...

When the ball gets put in the box, your job is to attack that ball,
It is to get on the end of that cross with every fibre of your being.
Determination, desire, hunger, a strikers instinct....
You are willing to sacrifice your body, your face, your nose, to get your head onto that piece of leather and smash it into the goal.
you want to be the hero, you want to score that all important goal, you are leading your team from the front.
let me see your war face.......
LET ME SEE YOUR WAR FACE............
LET ME SEE YOUR FUCKING WARRRRRRR FACCCCCCEEEEEEEE.....
FOR FUCK SAKE!!!!!

He should be taking those chances but he has zero support. The ball gets lumped to his head and when he does flick it on, no one is there and not only that, no one is trying to get up alongside him.

Amazing how Dykes always manages to position himself in totally the wrong part of the box to receive the ball. you'd think even by the law of averages he'd get it right once a game. And yet perversely that's now three managers in a row who've picked him every game... I wonder if NC will now buck the trend?

You guys have got to be fair. You don’t think reason we lost the game was because for their first, we gave the lad who did the assist all the time in the world and then the guy who scored had time to control it, get out of his feet and smash it at goal while Dieng waved at his mum in the crowd? Where was the closing down? Why the fuck are we so flat footed? Then the 2nd goal, start of 2nd half, again no marking, no presence and just general shit defending. You concede at home so early in each half, it sucks life out of you and the away team has something to fight for.
Dykes isn’t great but we have far bigger problems.

Fair play he done some running last night but nothing seems to go right for him at all.
Get a 4-4-2 going as he needs a partner up top. Even if Armstrong isnt ready yet...or perhaps the lesser spotted Bonne !?

Agsin last night we had chances to lead and take control but didn’t do it. Becoming a nasty habit.

We had 2 great opportunities to score yesterday when the game was 0-0. Totally different game if we have striker playing with better positional sense to get on the end of 1 of those chances and put us in the lead. I don't think it's any stretch to say the reason our form is so poor is because our striker isn't doing his job.

Good strikers have instinct on where to be in the box Dyjes on the other hand has bone and is the most un natural centre forward I have ever seen. If that fucker up in Glasgow wants him in January he should be sold to him as keeping him would suggest they could actually look to extend his contract and keep him even longer. I think we have all seen enough to know he is rank bad so really not sure why we are so keen to keep him.

What chances did we have when 0-0? Don’t you mean the 1 cross that went to no one as both went running into box rather than holding back? I’d blame more the coaching of that situation and where were runners from midfield?
